Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape.

Absolutely hated it. You only see Michael once in the first 50 minutes. Not sure where they were going with this story, personally would rather have seen Rob Zombie continue it. For those that I have seen it, I would love to hear your thoughts. Not putting any here on my comment, so if you don’t want spoilers don’t click replies.

SPOILER ALERT:
Not a bad movie but a few disappointments: one, when the Corey character over powers Michael Myers, Myers in prior movies has shown Herculean and unhuman strength, so it is simply unrealistic that a 5'9, 145lb wimpy guy is going to over power Myers at any point.; two, after 12 prior Halloween movies, I expected a big ending and the ending here is anti-climatic – it isn't terrible, but after Laurie kills her brother Michael Myers, I think it would have been a bigger ending if they hoisted the body on the cross and burned it, like in the bad old lynching days; three, they closed the door permanently on the franchise. If they have chosen a more formidable Corey character and allowed him to live, he could have become the new Michael Myers.
See Terrifier 2 instead. Don't waste your money on this regurgitated bullsht.

Don't listen to all these people squawking about the film. While it wasn't stereotypically as scary as it could have been and didn't have a lot of Michael Myers, true, it still told a good story and set up for a nice ending but entirely different spin-off series, featuring the much younger Corey who went away with some of Michael's left over strength he adopted from him. Michael Myers is clearly getting old and elderly 40 years later so his super power strength is naturally becoming weaker. This movie actually set up for a nice spin-off series of the Halloween movies, something brand new, with Corey as the star. I think Corey's evil will live on and Laurie's granddaughter and Corey will take over the series as archnemesis

This movie ia garbage.This makes Rob Zombie's version look like a gold star movie. Fuck romance movie between Alison and Cory. Cory being an upset bitch getting revenge while Myers was in the movie for 5 to 10 minutes and had no kills unless you consider 1/2(assisted) a kill a kill.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED. I had to post this review somewhere! If you are a MAJOR HALLOWEEN FRANCHISE FAN, you will likely be disappointed with this last movie, what should've been a fantastic finale, integrating both the end of the hell AND the integrity of the story. These movies are based on Michael Myers and the interplay between good and evil: Laurie Strode vs. Michael. This central conflict is barely grazed over in a very quick anticlimactic ending. No theme song plays–ever. And the tone and mood of the other movies, especially 1978 and the second movie, are missing from this film. Michael is a quiet, slow-paced stalker. He is barely there on Halloween in this last film. Instead (and without revealing spoilers) the writers choose to focus on another character's plight. Blending drama and horror genres doesn't work in a movie like this. I think the writers could have done a much better job by revisiting the plot and emphasizing Michael's role in the story. Also, the trailer includes climax scenes NOT included in the actual movie, which makes no sense. Overall, this isn't even scary (kind of the whole point of Halloween movies). If you are writing horror, and only 20% of the film is scary, you have failed. Best part of the movie? The opening. Directing was good. Acting was good. Story line was a flop largely because the conflicts we are watching are not the right ones–or the ones we want to see in the final presentation of "Halloween". I advise watching on Peacock instead of wasting money at the theater.

Like how the trailer looks like michael myers is finally 1v1ing laurie, instead he wasn't in the movie for 50+ minutes, and the movie was about a nerd who fells in love with a girl who just met him, somehow this movie felt so rush like why? They could've made a massacre, then finally the 1v1 and a major plot twist, then michael myers dies.
Movie felt like Michael Myers was way past his prime unretiring to get knocked out 😂
