He was also a vegetarian. He was an artist, animal rights supporter, and a vegetarian. Out of context, Adolf sounds like a liberal arts type of person.
I can relate to his upbringing, his love for animals, and his resentment towards people. I often look at people and wonder how they would've turned out had certain elements been different. Maybe in some alternate universe, Adolf is a successful artist with a supportive father and healthy mother. It would've been great to read about that man instead.
