Theorists, it’s finally time for a Five Nights At Freddy’s Security Breach theory. Well, a post-release FNAF Security Breach theory. Don’t worry, I will be covering EVERYTHING I can find. The biggest thing I want to talk about today, however, is Gregory. The young boy that we play as throughout the whole game is a big mystery and I intend to solve it! Who is he? Why is he there after hours? Is he even HUMAN? It’s time to dive back into FNAF!

  1. I believe we all missed the true question: how powerful of an AI program would DJ Music Man need to actually improvise a disco soundtrack, on the fly, while chasing Gregory?

  2. i mean i love your theories Mat but… this gregory robot one makes to me little sense, i do agree its is weird that we are never told so much as a bit of info on the kid, but he never strikes me as a bot, for example why is Vanny after Gregory if he isn´t a real child? why did Vanny chose him and told glitchtrap he was the chosen one by her if he is just a robot? Also theres is to me at least no real evidence of the robot thing aside from it being posible in this franchise, when freddy said he was broken i just thought he was saying that because that's how a robot would perceive and injury and it would explain that Gregory has that bandaid in his cheek. To me for example it didn´t seemed out of the realm of posibility to a child to be cruel to animatronics, i have seen real children trying to drown and suffocate baby ducks because they make "funny noises" as they are dying. And have you seen those things? i mean i supose you dream with that sort of stuff from how much you spend peicing the lore, but those things are nightmares my instinct when i saw them was kill them with fire! It also makes little sense that Gregory is a bot, since in the final fight glitchtrap afton shows he can posess and glitch multiple bots when he controls freddy, why then he didn´t do the same with Gregory if he is a robot? When i saw the effect Vanny had on her when she approaches you in the games i inmediately jumped into the idea that she was using sound ilusion disks, the little black circle with a flashing dot, we know they exist in the game thanks to sister location and the effects described in the books could easily hide her from Freddy and incapacitate Gregory to a degree. As for the dens found in the pizzaplex i understand why someone would inmediately assume they are Gregory's since Vanny has her own, but it always seemed like the pizzaplex was a new place for Gregory, he doesn´t seems to be wise to whats on the pizzeria itself, it seems unlikely they are his, as he would make a comment or there would be something that could link him to the place. I think the whole not giving him a perosnality is a trick like the ones scott does, he gave zero background because its easy to make theories out of a character completely unknown than from one we have already established. There are certainly many misteries still unexplained and it could be that Gregory is simply a kid left unexplaind so it could be a chewing bone for theorists rather than an useful bit of lore

  3. The room with all the junk connects to where sundrop drops down into the ballpit when you first meet him. Why would he be there when that's gregory's hide out?

  4. If Gregory was already living in the Pizza Plex, wouldn't he have known the layout better? Also, I feel like if someone like Gregory were to live in the Pizza Plex, not only would they know the layout but also have the vents unscrewed; different passageways; and cut-throughs, unlike how Gregory treated the Mega Plex in the beginning.

  5. The "Evan"/Gregory and Michael/Freddy theory is pretty interesting, however I do not think Gregory actually has any relation to the crying child; he just so happened to look like him, so the Michael in Freddy light bulbed upon seeing him.

In summary: Gregory is a human child that looks like Michael's brother, so Freddy protects him because he has the soul of Michael. Also, we know that murders have been happening ever since Vanny started working at the pizzaplex, so maybe Freddy is actually possessed by a recent murder victim, maybe even one of Vanny's therapists?

  6. can someone explain to my WHY Gregory is the crying child? what separatres this robot-child whatever from any other robot or child? his is soul presumably in golden Freddy, and his body was probably just buried after his death because, you know, funerals exist. So what part of the crying child is "inside" Gregory?

  7. Just some tangent but isn't the protective cylinder kinda like the scooping room? Big, round room with robot arms replacing parts (whether mechanical or human) with new parts. Not sure if that means anything but I think its neat.
