  16. The anime is definitely something you’d have to skip a bit to really get to the best parts if you’re new. The beginning is ok for world building, but it’s not until alabasta where it really picks up. Even then, it’s not really until saboadi archipelago that it gets to its best.

  17. Whoever sees this title/thumbnail and is considering the SHOW not the MANGA: YOU ARE NOT MISSING OUT! I watched ~750 episodes. It's super mid. There's good moments, but as a whole there are so many problems and the pacing is mega shit even with One Pace. The characters have some development, but the fact that it takes this long to achieve it is just pitiful. It's great to watch as filler between seasons of actually good shows, but anyone who thinks its "super good" has either been invested too long or is new to anime. That being said, I don't know shit about the manga, but since you can read as fast as your own ability it's probably better, however I doubt it's free from most of the same issues.

  18. bro i started watching one piece this September and I'm already half of the way. currently on ep 561. ngl it has been daunting and I've been wanting to give up and watch other shows, but when i saw this video it gave me more reasons to finish it. 😀

  25. I watched bits and pieces of one piece as a kid but never really got that much into it. Though not that long ago I actually decided to read all of one piece because of course it's a big part of anime. But I only read like 40 chapters. BUT THEN Ado released all of her songs for One piece film red and then I thought: "I need to watch this movie" so I went and read all of one piece in about 1.5 months (just finished like 2 days ago). And I can say that I have been missing out. (Though I can say good timing bc Wano arc is over now). Going to watch the movie on the 18th and I'm very hyped.
