A BRIT-led team of international volunteers blasted a Russian position with a Javelin anti-tank missile on Ukraine’s front line.

The daredevil squad, led by ex-Para Daniel Burke, crept into no-man’s land in occupied Kherson province to launch the rocket attack.

Their unit, known as the Dark Angels, began the commando-style raid after troops from Ukraine’s 28th Brigade gave them an £80,000 fire-and-forget missile.

Body cam footage shot by fellow Brit fighter Sam Newey — a ­student from Birmingham with no previous military experience — shows the four-man team creeping up to a ridge line to fire the US-made guided weapon.

Britain has given Ukraine some 200 Javelin missiles which have a maximum range of 2.5km. The US donated thousands more.

The Sun met the volunteers at their bunker HQ in a bomb-blitzed frontline village.

The highest ranking volunteer was a former US Marine sergeant, Chris.

Others include a German-born bartender, British ex-con Mark Ayres, 49, and a US gun enthusiast, Justin, 29, who fought in Afghanistan.

Burke formed the Dark Angels to deliver humanitarian aid and provide medical and military training.

His volunteers are all unpaid — and laugh off Russian claims they are far-right foreign mercenaries.

  2. British mercenaries shouldn't be involved. Not a NATO country & we are not in the EU. We know who's going to win. It's the everyday people in Ukraine that loose everything they would have been better off with the Russians securing their country than total destruction.

  3. It must be disheartening for soldiers to be murdering others when they know very well there is no justice to their position. The Russians have never done a thing to us. The whole problem is US imperialist hype, and has been all along.

  7. Hello. Take out Russian submarines. The US can locate then, and the Ukraine Air Force can torpedo them. A no brainer. Watt are they waiting for? The US follows their subs alll the time and know where they are. Just do it.

This is so staged, all foreign fighters, this is not your responsibility, and anyone stepping foot on the soil to fight on behalf of the military of another sovereign state takes risk of loosing their natural born citizenship. Read your passports people, NATO and EU are evil. They are sending elite support to die because they are just that desperate to keep control of Ukraine for themselves and their money laundering and corruption. It was never supposed to be in NATO, it is supposed to be the place foreign dignitaries Iike Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi & Mitt Romney put their kids on boards of oil and gas companies to get kick backs and laundering their dirty deeds. DoD confirmed 26 plus bio-weapons labs, Ukraine is NWO ground zero. Wake up!

  12. Each day we see suns videos, that Ukraine destroys huge part of the Russian army, but the fact is that more and more cities are becoming under Russian control (not fan of that). Point is that the sun is a good example of dictated media, which shows only the one side of the story. It is sad, but we lost our free media. Thee is no way getting it back.

My view of the Ukraine war is that the United States, British, and Israel are all joint forces against Russia by using Ukrainians as a proxy military front against Russia for various reasons on the global stage; the ordinary people are oblivious to the reality. The bigger picture, As they say, at the end of the day, is Ukraine that has been carved up, not the United States or the UK.
