Bonnie has kind of been an unfortunate character in the series. His predecessor spring bonnie became a nightmare Frankenstein serial killer. He lost his arm, face and got replaced in FNAF 2. And now he was replaced again in SB by not just by Monty but also Vanny.

Plot Twist: Bonnie never died, he was a fountain this whole time. A fountain is a decorative reservoir used for discharging water.

I love how the player goes from looking around all depressed and then staring at the bonnie bar sign, then slowly walks to the door and starts running away lol

A little possible albeit maybe dumb theory I have is that the Bonnie of this game mightâve been the âfirst victimâ to Aftonâs mind control/hacking. Like a test subject of sorts. Could explain why Monty replaced him.

Michael afton could be freddy but if he was i would think that bonnie was his childhood friend from the 1970's

That's not the only line. There is also one that happens when you first see Vanny in her rabbit suit. Since the animatronics cannot see Vanny, Gregory tells Freddy that he saw a rabbit, at which point Freddy pauses for a moment before saying that there hasn't been a rabbit at Fazbear's for a long time.
Wait… I have a question. It may sound stupid, but has anyone considered the possibility that the spirit possessing Freddy is probably the original Freddy Fazbear from the first game?

Broo, my first favorite character was the original Bonnie, and sticked with it even if there we're newer designs (even if he was decayed). Really sad that Bonnie was replaced by Monty.

I wish that they made it so freddy tell Gregory about Bonnie and Gregory searches for Bonnie's parts scattered around the monty golf and then he build Bonnie back and that will a SUPER GOOD ENDING

I feel like Bonnies absence in this game is symbolic to Scott Cawthonâs departure from the franchise. Because Bonnie was the first animatronic he ever created.
Before you feel bad for the other 3, take a step back and remember that they killed G. R. Bonnie out of jealousy because he was too popular
