  1. Had to pick this up, out of curiosity. So far I have a few observations.
Armour seems really powerful early. Using the Dozer, picking up every armour upgrade got me to about 12, and made me entirely immune to damage for like 20 minutes. Then I died almost instantly.
Drones do almost no damage, but they briefly stun things they hit.
Mods appear to max out at 10, and the final weapon level is much more powerful than the previous ones.
It's not obvious if you're using a keyboard, but you can choose the slot that a weapon is going to go in, and they are mounted on different parts of the machine. The Dozer's outer slots actually shoot sideways. More importantly, you can actually put the same weapon in multiple slots. You can mount four lasers on the first mech, if you want to. The same goes for the other categories of mod. They upgrade independently though.
I'd consider using a controller, it's still not intuitive, but it makes a bit more sense.

  2. Wow…that ending reminded me of so many times I've run into a "exploding congaline" in games. There is no shame in that death. I'd love to see more of this over time though. The siege cannon did catch my eye after all.

  3. James, I completely agree on the Movie thing, deciding I want to sit down for 2~ish hours, requires me to be in a mood to do it… and I'd rather do something, most of the time, usually… (Which includes FF14 again, lately… xD)

  4. I'm not into the music but I rarely play with game music on. It also needs some beefy weapon sound effects. Apart from that though, this is a game I could really get into with the right support and decisions from the devs. Mech games are something that I've been playing for decades now.

  5. Honestly, this game doesn't look very kinesthetically satisfying to play. Not to mention the 3D just skewers the game's perspective towards the top, meaning the bottom is obscured a lot. I think I'd rather just play '20 Minutes 'Til Dawn'.

  6. Yo Lee glad you watched the Corridor Breakdown too! I enjoyed it, I am a Pakistani and I wanted to see what people thought about the Bollywood films, glad to know other people enjoy them!
Also loved this video, and the game!

  7. About the wonky stats, it looks like the current stats include your passive bonuses to damage and rate of fire, but the preview of the next level does not take those bonuses into account. So in some cases it looks like upgrading lowers your rate of fire, for example, but it doesn't actually make any change to that stat.

  8. Thanks again, guys… Add another game to my steam account. After playing around with it… A LOT, I have found that, while there is a limited amount of weapons and upgrades, you can specialize in so many awesome ways. For example, putting the circling orbs in all four of your shoulder mounts makes for an AOE of absolute DEATH. I will be looking forward to you doing builds in this game like you do in so many other games. Thanks again.
