    I hope that you get to read this message. So I am almost 40yrs old planning my first trip to Disney World with my kids on June 25th! So excited and nervous at the same time! Is there a way that you can help me with an itinerary for us to guide us while at the parks? This is sooo new to us and it seems as if is soooo complicated to get around and with little to no planning I feel as if I set us up for this family va action. One day I woke up and said me and the kids deserve to visit Disney World and I had no clue all the planning that goes into this trip. Any help? advice? Anything dear? I would love for the kids to have a blast since is a big sacrifice I am making taking them there.

  21. I’ve been loving the Mickey Mouse collection but this It’s a Small World Series has a weird color choice for the ride it’s based on! Either way, still got it. 4/12 and waiting for the next one 😉

  26. Hi! Thank you so much for reporting on the new allergy-friendly cupcake! I just needed to address the comment about the rice flour being the culprit for the density/dryness. Former (albeit retired) certified pastry chef and food allergy sufferer here! 🙋🏻‍♀️ The allergy culprit in wheat flour is gluten, which actually causes toughness or structure in baked goods. Great for things like croissants or baguettes that need structure in order to be laminated and folded and twisted over and over again and maintain their shape! Not great for cakes and most cookies that we want fluffy or soft, and are shaped by the container they bake in or just get that great irregular cookie shape. If you’ve ever been warned in a cookie or cake recipe not to overmix, that’s why! It makes the gluten tougher which makes the cookie tougher! That’s also why cakes and cookies are often made with pastry wheat flour (least amount of gluten) vs bread wheat flour (lots of gluten). So it’s totally possible to make a lovely, fluffy, moist cupcake with allergy-friendly flour because such a dessert does not rely on gluten. Density and dryness is either recipe error or chef error. There are definitely some chefs in Disney World that really understand allergy friendly baking. The allergy friendly beignets at Port Orleans!? A GIFT FROM THE GODS! But cupcakes around the parks tend to be disappointing for mystery reasons. Contrary to popular belief, foodies with food allergies hate dense or dry cupcakes too! But I was really happy to see mention of this and would love to see DFB talk more about these desserts, or even the alternates provided at certain venues. You always mention it (thank you!), I’d be so interested to see those dishes. I also highly recommend Sarah from @snorris49 or her secondary page @glutenfreedairyfreedisney on IG. Great food allergy coverage!

  27. So I was talking to my mom about our last disney trip, and I ask if we did the dinning plan and she said yeah. Because we have 5 people in our family, and we had so many points,, mom just let us eat the Mickey ice cream pops for every meal😂🙃😂🙃

  29. The shame of it is, a smart Disney Executive would have built the hotel around the show. The Aloha show could have been the central courtyard ( and main attraction ) of this new resort. Instead, we get concept art that looks like any other Courtyard by Marriott. (golf clap) Thanks again Bob, stellar job you're doing there.

  30. Walt Disney world costs way too much to visit anymore .plus they went woke and want to try to groom your kids to the transgender which I hope people boycott Walt Disney world until they change there company back to where Walt himself had it..so go woke go broke

  33. OMG, that demolition at the Poly is a hard pill to swallow. I was at one of the last LUAU shows with my daughter right before the Pandemic hit. I remember there was a cold front that weekend and we had to hula in our winter coats. It's a memory I'll never forget. I wish I had taken a picture that night.

  34. I finally got a chance to go to Disney world for the first time, and I had the worst luck. On day 1 at Magic kingdom my genie + would give me reservations for a completely different ride then I made a LL for. Day 2 at epcot it was miserably hot I ended up using an umbrella the whole day. Day 3 at Hollywood studios someone’s kid kept getting up on Mickeys runaway railway so they had to stop the ride and we didn’t get to see half of the story and I waited 2hrs in standby for tower of terror to be extremely disappointed. Day 4 at animal kingdom it was super humid and the train got stuck on rafikis planet Watch so we had to take an emergency walking trail back to the park and all the cast members were lined up clapping and waving making sure we made it back to the park. The absolute worst park is animal kingdom many of the cast members were rude, and the park opens at 8 but nowhere gives water cups until 10am, that’s just ridiculous

  47. It’s INSANE how much Disney World PALES, when compared to what it was just 3 years ago 🙁 Aside from the absurd price-increases, let’s just sum up all the benefits that DW have completely abandoned:

    1. No more complimentary Magic Express/bus-transfer from and to the airport.

    2. No more complimentary Magic-Bands for resort guests.

    3. No more FREE FastPass-system (a system, which in its function wiped the floor with that lamo payed “Genie”+ system)

    4. No more in-park-bought-merchandise-delivery to your hotel! So now you have to carry around all the stuff you buy during the day (seriously, how low can they get?)

    5. You still have to RESERVE a park-entrance, before buying your park ticket (lame)

    What else am I missing??? I have no doubt, that I’m missing something? At this very point in time, Disney World SHOUDLN’T be allowed to call it “the happiest place on earth”, cause it’s failing. And that BS-line; “Where dreams come true”… Lol, yeah, if you’re FILTHY_rich! Disney should seriously take a hard goddamn look at how Universal Studios have handled things, post-pandemic. Universal is still just as awesome, and they’re still offering the same perks across the board! They didn’t cop-out, like Disney have.. Disney, you’re pathetic, and WALT would 100% be ashamed.

  48. The Disney Plus Harmonious was a waste. If you wanted to actually see Harmonious, it was a major disappointment. Idina and guests were terrific, don’t get me wrong but, actually watching Harmonious was a disappointment. .
