This New World Sword & Shield Guide will go over the basics, abilities and more of the primary tank weapon choice in the new MMO. It includes a New World Sword build with a mix of abilities suitable for both PvP and PvE. While the Sword & Shield combo is mostly regarded as a tank weapon, it can put out some serious damage in PvP and most certainly hold its own in a duel. I'm personally more fan of a sword heavy tree at least in theory. Like you give up some def but get way more damage especially end game with some crit rate from ring. Can't wait until lvl 60 though

What happened yesterday is you didn't just have demand for the game nearly doubling the final week, but 400k of those were on the final day. 95% showed up on launch day. But they doubled the servers by the first night and will keep adding servers as needed. With free transfers of characters and all their stuff for two weeks, folks will be able to hook up with their friends as things calm down. With a sharded game, you can't just be on any server you choose and just sit there in the queue. Great video, Duke, as this is EXACTLY the build I'm working on 😀
I kinda want to run great axe/warhammer and rapier, would it be viable to use the rapier as a set up for one of those? I'm thinking 150 constitution, but what about dexterity vs strength?
What do you thing about sword and spear for pvp? I've watched some videos where people say spear is bad at pvp
