Authorities on Sunday released “heartbreaking” video of the fatal shooting of Black motorist Jayland Walker in a hail of bullets minutes after Akron police say he fled a traffic stop last week.
The eight officers directly involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave, and the city canceled its four-day Fourth of July festival as stunned residents and city leaders await the results of an investigation into Walker’s death.

I like to know what was broken on the car that they needed to stop and check up on it. It seems that a broken taillight or a cracked windows are what the police seem to look for. Then they handcuff a man after being shot 60 times. What kind of police force do you have there? We need to fear the Police, the state and government more that the criminals. Plus when he flees fearing for his life (cant say he isnt right to do so considering the history this country have), he isnt armed at all. The gun is in the car, with separate ammo and body. So he couldnt have fired any rounds. Who takes out his ammo clip before running out?? Absolutely no one. And if he did shot, he wouldve taken his gun on him. Cops reported that they heard firing from car but provided no proof of that. The recovered firearm was unloaded. However when the suspect fled on foot leaving the firearm in the car he was shot at over 107 times of which 60 of the shots killed him. Police then proceed to handcuff him lying on the ground dead.
