Forecasting of a wobbling hurracaine is so difficult. I'm sure they believed it was going to go way north of them because that is what they were being told. Couldn't pay me to live in a hurracaine area.

These STUPID people who chose to "Ride it out" Should have to pay for their rescue. This is a total waste of first responders time. They had PLENTY of time to evacuate.
Hopefully they took down the word help so other rescue people aren't confused and looking there again.

Maybe it is time for people to realize that some places should never be developed. Maybe Sanibel Island should be turned into a national park with no residential housing on the island!
If the dude has time to film than they are not at risk
they wanted to stay leave them there.

As much as we all feel devastated by our fellow Americans in that area, I'm sorry by not listening to the order to get out of there BEFORE THE HURRICANE GOT THERE IS PLAIN STUPID. PLUS they now put first responders at-risk to rescue them. Plus it adds to the cost. That was a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER instead they stayed
To all you people crying about Americans being rescued regardless of being warned to leave.. and saying it's a waste of tax dollars. Just be happy some of our tax dollars are being used on American soil!! Not being gave away to some other country that has no idea or the slightest care in the world of who you are!
