  1. I think he kept the spirit of the tv show really well. and Grandpa and Lilly was very well acted in my opinion. anyone talking crap knows nothing about the show and is probably mad it wasn't gay enough.

  2. Sense you didn’t watch the series a lot growing up it makes sense with your RATEING and feel that’s fair and around what I gave it. I grew up with it so pretty much new what it was going to be like going in. I had a super fun time with what it was and for me I gave it 4/5

  3. This film is a slopfest and has the quality of a 90s halloween beer commercial.. in the worst way possible. Zombie should never have been given director seat on this or any other project except the first Halloween Remake. The angles were bad, the colors were bad, the acting was bad for even munsters territory, the story is bad, the jokes are bad, the actor choices for the most part are bad, the music is bad, the timing is bad, the film feels like an internet covid movie.

I could not have disliked it more.

  4. Was it a masterpiece? No. Was it fun? Hell yes. Just like the original show. And I think this also proved that these classic monster makeup designs can still work in a modern film, you just need to touch up the textures a bit.

  5. I've not seen it. But it's been getting a lot of hate. But I know of a lot of movies like 'Big Trouble Little China' that got hate but decades later found an audience. Zombie's Halloween was hated but years later it gained fans. Zombie and Carpenter are a lot of like, their movies often take decades to find the people who'll appreciate them. Thank goodness for people like Zombie, who just makes movies he wants.

  6. You two remind me so much of my husband and I! Not overly cynical, finding enjoyment in almost anything and just going along for the ride! I know a lot of people are gonna be super critical of this movie but my husband and I enjoyed it and it got quite a few laughs from us!
