Let’s check out some of Freedom Planet 2’s story with a new character Carol the wildcat! Also, let’s ride a rocket into the sky and fight giant robotic sky pirates on a fleet of airships! This game is AMAZING!
Freedom Planet 2 is a speed focussed platformer in the vein of classic Sonic the Hedgehog games with its own mixture of beat’em up mechanics and story mode. It’s a beautifully pixel art animated game with a fun, fully voice acted story, and a lot of charm!

Giving a game multiple characters that play differently enough from each other that it makes replaying the same missions feel totally different is a really nice, simple touch. It gives the game a lot of value. But, I don't think a ton of games do it. Outside of the Sonic games, can you guys think of any other games or series that do this?
Interesting you went through the airship sigwada with Carol, as it's the first one where their story begins to split off, you will end up going through every stage, but you're missing out on a boss fight with Carol's sister which happens when playing as the other characters.
Nice, airship levels are always my favorite!
19:16 I would love it if he's just disguising himself because he's actually the only human in a world of anthropomorphic animals.
On the other hand, that would have some really weird insinuations…
I personally think it would be best if you showed off every character at least once (and Carol's motorcycle, I really want to see it) and then focus on one character so the story stays consistent.
Of course that's just my opinion.
If you're having fun playing each level with each character then I think showing different levels with different characters would be very fun! If possible I suggest doing the levels/Gameplay on a rotation and show the cutscenes from a single character's perspective. The storylines are 99% the same but that last 1% seems to flow throughout the whole story giving each character a different experience (Like you said this game has great replay value!)

Carol dialogue is so much better than lilac
