Essex – Episode 13 – The Salty Saga



Not the famous US warship but the English county which gets a ring side seat to a sudden escalation in the naval conflict as the Royal Navy commits its very dangerous capital ships to the fight once more.

A new campaign! 1920 start date with the random AI personalities and on Legendary difficulty. As an extra challenge I’m starting with an AI generated fleet so expect some salty language. I can refit ships if I want but replacing ships isn’t allowed until I get a new hull, meaning I’m going to have to fight the French using the dreadful rubbish the AI made…

    edit: Munro learning why I hate playing destroyers because they just seem to die very quickly and a waste of materials even though they will do anti submarine thingies next patch I really despise the concept of AI subs just going and sinking everything

  2. From the mid-1990s until 2015 I built probably a dozen computers for myself or family members.

    Today am so out of touch with PC tech world that you could say “NVIDIA released their new forty fifty twenty thirty TI XY series” and I would just nod.

  3. It has occurred to me that a mechanic to allow the player to counter-flood his listing ships at the expense of further loss of buoyancy could be an interesting option. At least you could shoot back again; for awhile…
