This has got to be one of my favorite monsters in frontier. The fact that he’s not even really based off a wolf and more based off a dog is great. He’s pretty, he’s goofy, and his fight is really intense. An all around incredible monster.
I hope we get more Garons in the mainline. We have Clifford and Lunagaron, albeit in seperate games, but now I'd quite like to see the puppers from Frontier to show up some time. Espinas sure did open a BUNCH of doors when he entered the main series, and I'm stoked about it.
Rule of thumb for MH fans looking to pronounce names accurately: say the first 2 syllables as one part, then the rest of the name as the other part, then combine them without trying to blend the parts together. For example, Midogaron should be pronounced as though you're saying "Mido" and then saying "garon" right after.
I honestly hope we get the wolves in the main series. We have tons of wolflike reptiles (Zinogre, Lunagaron, etc.) but there aren’t any actual wolves in the main series as of yet

Zenith Midogaron is just the domesticated dog version of the wolf-like regular Midogaron, only unlike wolves -> dogs, the domesticated version is somehow even more deadly.
I know that it’s said quite a bit, but I honestly think there’s a lot of frontier monsters that would fit perfectly into the mainline games (with some obvious tweaking)
Just imagine how the Akuras would fit in the next mainline game, not to mention how beautiful they would look with 5th gen graphics.
