Judging people from History with today’s standards …well I mean you’re not part of todays youth anymore…and you nor I pass the standards of todays youth…how tf could John Wayne…& why does he need to. Wow your story was powerful, man. I’m straight, but I love you for telling that. My story is pretty nuts too. The point is any time that we as Men can speak out about our mental health struggles, and really push back against that fucking John Wayne bullshit, it’s evolution. Forget all that macho bullshit. It’s okay to say that you’re unhappy. It’s okay to say that you aren’t okay. I lost my father, and my best friend, both to suicide. I can’t express to you how happy I am that you didn’t pull the trigger in that Ruger. Because truth be told, I’ve been going through some really dark times too, and your content makes me genuinely happy. Losing myself in the ecstasy of the automobile, while hearing your brilliant comedic timing and sense of humor fills me with a joy that I struggle to describe. It makes me feel like there’s another sarcastic a-hole from the close minded smalltown rural northeast who knows how I grew up. I love you bro, and I’m glad you made the difficult choice of carrying on that day
Also, from a dad. The reason people describe the age of children under 2 years old in weeks is because babies develop at a frenetic pace, so a 6 week old and a 1 month old can be quite a difference. Or so these annoying people who insist on doing it say
