  1. Yay, day drinking! Did you say "Cigars International"? You smoke cigars? You like whisky and a G&T? Good man! I wish I was somebody of note so could wangle you into a cigar and drink and chat.

  2. John Wayne is Dead and obviously he comes from a different time and portrayed yet another different time (even further back) in most of his movies. Judging people from History with today’s standards …well I mean you’re not part of todays youth anymore…and you nor I pass the standards of todays youth…how tf could John Wayne…& why does he need to. It’s just a worrying trend to me I guess, and I certainly don’t want to have my faults judged to the standards of people in 2130 or whatever. I’m all for calling out problematic behavior from the past or today that’s problematic today…but taking things that were the norm for ages and judging people for not being quick enough in their adoption of change and whatnot…idk i mean we tell people to walk a mile in our shoes before judging us, because our experiences form is THAT much, but judging someone who literally was formed and forged in a reality that’s entirely foreign to us…I can’t pretend to have any idea how or who I’d be if I grew up then that’s for sure.

  3. Yo no disrespect I love y’all but careful with placing the mic a little too close. I can hear one of you breathing in way too much detail while the the other is talking. and it’s messing with my brain lol.

  4. The big Orange County Airport is named for John Wayne because he lived there for decades before his death. Also because we it was a Republican stronghold, though that has been changing in recent years.

  7. Wow your story was powerful, man. I’m straight, but I love you for telling that. My story is pretty nuts too. The point is any time that we as Men can speak out about our mental health struggles, and really push back against that fucking John Wayne bullshit, it’s evolution. Forget all that macho bullshit. It’s okay to say that you’re unhappy. It’s okay to say that you aren’t okay. I lost my father, and my best friend, both to suicide. I can’t express to you how happy I am that you didn’t pull the trigger in that Ruger. Because truth be told, I’ve been going through some really dark times too, and your content makes me genuinely happy. Losing myself in the ecstasy of the automobile, while hearing your brilliant comedic timing and sense of humor fills me with a joy that I struggle to describe. It makes me feel like there’s another sarcastic a-hole from the close minded smalltown rural northeast who knows how I grew up. I love you bro, and I’m glad you made the difficult choice of carrying on that day

  8. Also, from a dad. The reason people describe the age of children under 2 years old in weeks is because babies develop at a frenetic pace, so a 6 week old and a 1 month old can be quite a difference.
Or so these annoying people who insist on doing it say
