  1. Dont forget, you can get the gold chocobo in FF7 by turning in the desert rose…. that you get from beating ruby weapon… That you kinda want the knights of the round already to beat…. I was so disappointed when i got that as a kid and already had a gold chocobo. worst uber boss reward ever lol

  2. In Xenoblade 3, the side quests to unlock the "secret" character and get hazard neutralization isn't complicated. Basically, just progress colony 4 and city side quests until you are attacked by invisible robots (this also happens once during main story near Tau) once you've completed those 2 side quests, a '?' appears in a cave in Upper Aetia, that is the hero quest.

  3. Another good edition would be Armored Core (PS1), where you have to go into bankrupcy like 10-20 times in a row at the beginning of the game to get some pretty significant bonuses inluding; a laser blade upgrade, radar range, permanent generator output increase, and a few more. AC also had a surprising amount of hidden weapons, one of which is litterally just siting on the floor and is one of the best laser rifles in the game.

  4. I think Final Fantasy X had a better hidden unlockable skill although not for the regular game but for blitzball. It is missable but if you do get it it breaks the game nor in literal sense but blitzball is cakewalk after toy do thew Jecht shot challenge and learn to do the Jecht shot which makes getting Waka's final weapon Tournament Champion much easier.

  5. Wait.. Valkyries in GoW is supposed to be hard!? The only Valkyries I found hard was the one in Muspelheim, Nivlheim and the queen (this was before I had max level red gear)

  7. Rain of arrows in Elden ring becomes powerful when you have something like Bleed arrows. 1 arrow to cast Rain of arrows and each arrow spawned will build up the status effect. So on bigger enemies it’s almost instantly proc’d

  8. I just have to add, Knights of the Round in FF7 is a top contender for the most broken ability in all of gaming history (not something said lightly). With the right materia you auto KotR, then your party mimics the move over & over… You seriously beat the last boss in the game without touching your controller. Id mention Ultima Weapon but he doesn't have a dozen phases. 😛

  9. i like lists like this reminds me of the ps2 and ps1 era games where you had to play games for hours for cool powerful unlockables. Now people play games for hours just to unlock a trophy that literally does nothing. But gives you bragging rights

  10. I do remember getting the Hadouken in Mega Man X. I don’t remember what I had to specifically do, but I remember thinking it was a great ability and nice reference to one of Capcom’s other hit franchise 👍
I also must have done the Golden Chocobo in FF VII, which I don’t quite recall, because I did have the Knights of the Round summon. I couldn’t have beaten Emerald Weapon without spamming that summon 😪

  11. FFVII, Golden Chocobo & Fully MASTERED Knights of the Round, x4 For Linking, HP draw, MP draw and 2x Strike, JUST for Cloud! took nearly 8 Months! the other 2 Characters in main Party just had 2x MIMIC!
Sephiroth went down In 2 Rounds, 'but Holy Crap' the Animation Time! It Still Took Close to a Hour, to Complete.😯

  12. Im not sure if I got Kiryus Legend ability, I may havr, I did all property battles. But I remember getting Majima's…. after doing main battles and not needing to fight anymore 😆😆
But I did get into street fights to take it out for a spin.

  13. Arrow rain in Elden is amazing for placing status effects on large enemies and bosses. Great way to apply scarlet rot and poison or even sleep on the God skin duo. Easily one of the best ashes of war. It only uses 1 arrow and fires a barrage allowing you to really extend the use of status effect arrows.

  14. The Mascot dress sphere was really powerful though because it had Ribbon as its ability. As in, the Ribbon that makes you immune to ALL status effects. Most FF games typically only have like one of these as an item, and this made it so you could just have it as a power.

If you wanted to play the final 99 level dungeon, you pretty much had to have this.

  15. Is God of war Ragnarok gonna come out for ps4/ps5? Also, so excited that Persona 5 Royal edition is coming to gamepass, as well as Ps5 (exclusive 🤣) Deathloop. It is pretty fun, but definitely not something that I woulda bought it, no offense if y'all like that game!
