I'm soo sick of warrior.. in retail.. in wotlk EVERYWHERE.
I didn't start playing war until shortly before wrath prepatch and I'm not sure if retaliation is working as intended, but 2 wars with retaliation is bouncing procs back and forth basically until one dies.
Always wondered what would happen with retaliation vs retaliation, you both melted he just died first by like 3%, that's hilarious

retalliation is procing from retaliation hits recursevly, which is a major bug lol (watch how both warriors HP going down when retaliation starts to procs between then)

I LOVE my arms warrior in Wotlk, battle stance now being absolutely insane with the armor pen built into it and being able to use overpower from Taste of Blood is just perfect
if you want to kick, shield bash can be used in battle stance now. Just requires a macro to equip a shield
It's effectively a 75% MS because they do 50% less from MS, and that reduced amount is 50% less from overpower.

Warrior has been OP in pvp from classic all the way until MoP. Cata warrior does insane damage too and they have a silence. Wotlk warrior was OP the whole way through, only class that can play double healer in 3s and still put out enough pressure to kill.
They nerfed most of the other OP cheesy stuff in wrath but not warriors

Classic can't be exactly the same as the original, because they use a class balance template of the latest wotlk patch from start to finish and its clear that warriors dominated in arenas along with MM Hunters in BGs, reflecting the very balance of retail wow.

i remember in wrath i was playing ele disc priest and any healer + warrior combo was literally a free win for us ! so for me I was always happy to be against warriors! Resto shaman/lock was nearly impossible for us to beat tho ! but that 50% reduce dmg/healing overpower , is it a new thing or was it there back then ? i can’t remember
Overpower have 1 sec gcd instead of 1.5 sec in wrath so gcd is fast when u overpower!

What else he is forgetting to tell people and time your rend ticks for back to back overpowers and its stacks with mortal strike to 75%.
Is retaliation bugged? It consumed like all of the stacks in 1 second in the first game
great video but i did wanna mention that you can shield bash in battle so you can get a weapon swap macro to do that without losing rage in battle

In season 5 warriors are going to be kinda bad. I mean other classes will do a lot more dmg. Prot warriors were actually doing more dmg than arms warriors.
But well, maybe players back in the days couldnt play arms properly. I had some games on bugmane in first seasons gear as well – arms was pretty bad there as i remembered it to be (as shadow priest or warlock i literally was killing arms warriors having 90% hp left… Every time).
But ye, bugmane isnt known for quality scripting so it can be a lot different on classic.
