Right, so I read about this Phrygian scale right, and how it was all dark and wot right? And contrarian in me thought, “nah I don’t wanna feel dark, I want to make a sonic hug, like a sonic boom except less aggressive and more warm”. So here we are. I hit a niiiiice sweet spot with the Volca keys melody hitting a nice setting in the Mood, and I just absolutely love it, gives me exactly the feeling of uplifting spring love that I wanted.

Great tone on the keys; I really enjoyed that solo! It balances well with the synth coming from the Tracks. Nice sunny sound here, and the bass and that (Prince) beat give it some nice movement. No matter the weather, it’s always sunny inside.

Yeah about scales & personal style… idk I'm not a pro in music theory but from my limited experience I'd say that despite the canonical styles associated with such and such scale, personal touch always gonna come on top.
It can feel like a curse – I know I never sound uplifting no matter what I do or how happy I'm feeling while making a track 🤣 I think it's something to accept and work with, turn the curse into a blessing, 'cause that's how you sound unique! Cheers!
