Badd Medicine here and its Pirates of the Caribbean reaction time! Another fun one here. Really liked the story here. Seemed like Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) stepped up more in this one. Really liked the action as well. Felt like this one was as good or just a little bit better than the first. Gotta say Jack Sparrow is very entertaining. Johnny Deep out did himself here.
Plot:
When ghostly pirate Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) comes to collect a blood debt, Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) must find a way to avoid his fate lest his soul be damned for all time. Nevertheless, the wily ghost manages to interrupt the wedding plans of Jack’s friends Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley).

Love this movie
The third one is best, it has a pretty dark overtone to it
Also, no member of the cast knew Barbossa was coming back. So in the final scene they were truly suprised somebody was coming down the stairs.
You guys always say "imagine seeing this in theaters" and it's made me realize how thankful I am that I did see alot of these films in the theater. It's really given me a new appreciation for that. Thanks for your fresh takes on all the films you guys watch!

I know you’ve probably seen it but it never gets old. I actually enjoy it more than the first one.
I enjoyed this one, even if some of the stunts got a smidge too ridiculous for my taste, and the "love triangle" went on too long and was kinda dumb. The first is still my favorite because it feels more like a straight adventure. The third is funish but pretty disappointing.
I loved watching the first three of these movies. The last two made were ok in my opinion. At least you three get to watch them back to back. I am glad you are enjoying them.

You guys a literally the only reaction channel I listen to the whole discussion and not only to the reaction, I feel like you get to a point and express yourselfs very well.
"Set sail in a general that-way direction" is literally me when someone asks me where something is lol
Watching these films its easy to forget that Elizabeth was only like 22 at the start and seeing as POTC 1 & 2 pick up after each other she's still 22 goin on 23, makes sense that her feelings arent sorta completely out even though she's set to marry Will.
We've established that she's sorta obsessed and intrigued by this pirate life hence her initial attraction to Will and her slight attraction to Jack as not only is he a good man & pirate but he's a touch older & a bit more dangerous. This continues into pt 3 (I wont spoil).
I love the trilogy cause it expands on the 3 stars characters & their development & brings them full circle. One of the best trilogies ever.
Can never get over how amazing the cgi is in these movies. Especially Davy Jones and his crew.
The best scene in this film is by far the dice game. You could write an entire screenwriting dissertation on that one scene.
You guys are clearly confused 😂 which I love at the end scene of jack. Basically when he charged at the kraken it was basically the metaphor “the captain goes down with the ship” so jack knew he couldn’t outrun the creature so he could only be brave and fight it

The third movie is the best one
The next one 'At World's End' is my favourite, the opening scenes are exceptionally dark. #4 'Stranger Tides' is, for me somewhat weaker but the whole thing kicks up again with #5 'Dead Men Tell No Tales'.
The first three are the best the fourth is kinda bad and the fifth I think is the worst. The fifth is not lore accurate and jack feels so weird
Bill Nighy as Davy Jones is just outstanding! You'll know him from other things but he was briefly in Harry Potter as the Minister of Magic after Fudge who gave Harry and co the items of Dumbledore's will.
my fav pirate film this and best of series. the triple sword fight on the mill wheel alone is worth our bucks

Pirates movies have been done before but no like this. Between the grat dialogue, the great CGI and the performances, especially from Johnny Depp, ''The Curse of the Black Pearl'' is a 10/10.
my favorite is the third. even those who don't like him so much agree with what he has best in comparison to others. the third is the most epic, the most dramatic, the most complex and the most satisfying in my opinion.

Hey guys. My favorite one is definitely the 3rd (At the world's end).
I love it because it's way more Epic than the previous ones. It expands the Universe and the Mythology of Pitares of Caribbean so much. It has epic battle scenes, emotional moments, it is really really intense. I can still remember how I felt seeing it in the thatres when I was 12. The only movie that ever reached the same level of Epic was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2.
