  1. It’s because they know how bad she is. They are ultra sensitive to anything which shows you how insecure they are. She is a disaster about to happen and they won’t be able to shield her from her incompetence. Any joke that a comedian makes is irrelevant.

  2. We wish you success and success, but a question about the people you accused of terrorism and they are innocent people. Do you look forward to the rehabilitation, and thank you

  3. Just want to say to the great British suffering public that a freind was once sent a Gas bill – (when they had no Gas!!!!) it was capped off even) asked to explain the bill they did then were told ''there is No Gas here so what you have just explained is utter lies. What does that say about these ''so called ''bills'''…………made up !

  4. It's as if those who lived through tyranny or grew up under it or at least acutely aware of it, know the importance of free speech and satire. 30 years after the wall fell we have a couple of generations of people who believe freedoms like that are a given, and we should just all be nice and civil to our masters as they destroy society.
    Wake wakey.

  5. Do you really think, James, that they would pass up an opportunity to get their message across? Even if the hypocrisy and blatant inaccuracies were pointed out, or heaven forbid they were made fun of for being ridiculous, some would still believe and this would also present an opportunity to later express the view that broadcaster X was biased and should be ignored for that reason.

  6. woke is nonsense. The world needs attention, it is sick, it is running a fever and humans are playing identity politics. When the world looks back on this period in history, it will be viewed as the greatest waste of our time and intelligence.

  7. Is "woke" their own meaning or is it just how the word's etymolgy has evolved in popular culture? See words such as "Wicked", "Sick" etc. By the way I thought Joe Lycett was hilarious and did exactly what I would expect him to do on that kind of show. However trying to argue the semantics of woke and it's modern definition isn't the best tool to beat the Daily Mail (and you have plenty of great options).

  8. I've noticed the irony of this for a long time now, with people on the right eschewing terms like "Woke", "Cancel culture", and "Snowflake", like no tomorrow, all the while displaying the very behaviour they claim to have disdain for. It is sheer hypocrisy, and plain as day to see for anyone with a shred of intelligence.

  9. The trouble with 'Woke' is that in its original form it was pure and well meaning, , unfortunately it was quickly hijacked by anyone who feels slightly annoyed or harrassed about anything.
They demand to be upset and demand you listen – like children having a tantrum.

  10. Hey Jim, I'm no Tory far from it but I'll try and help you out here – language basically functions as a useful tool because there is common agreement on what terms mean so that we are actually be able to discuss things. I appreciate your gallant effort to single-handedly re-define what ''Woke'' means but I'm afraid it's not up to you but to how people commonly understand the term. There is no objective definition of ''conscience'' or ''virtue'' – these are subjective concepts as we all know if we care to take only a cursory look at our history. What the Puritans regarded as 'virtuous' wasn't universally shared etc.
