Dark Secret About Amazonian Reproduction (Wonder Woman's World) – Fate Of Male Newborns? Explored

Wonder Woman is one of the most righteous and noble superheroes in the world of comics, and maybe even beyond the world of fiction. And, her traits are often hailed as gifts she received from her mother Hippolyta and the race of Amazons of Themyscira, the Paradise Islands. But let me assure you, they are far from beacons of goodness. The island is home to super beautiful superhumans, right? So, how did Wonder Woman or any other Amazonian come into being? And if the women from Amazon do, in fact, procreate, then what happens to all the sons of Themyscira?

  1. Sorry I don't like the " the modern comic age " much. Don't get me wrong some story's and art are brilliant. But I still like the gold, silver and bronze age comics. I like the original wonder woman's birth. The comics like to call goddess, gods ,which a male chauvinist view of life. At lest deity is a good word . Anyway. The breath of aphrodite give life to WW. Also give her beauty inside and outside. Hermes give the gift of speed and flight. Athena give the gift of wisdom. Demeter give her strength of the earth. I think there were 2 more. But I can't remember and my comics are packed away. Goggle only helping a bit. One more thing. In ancient Greek myths there 2 story's I know with the death of hippolyta and the amazon's. Both were accident, kind of. One is in Borth story's the Prince of power and the amazon queen respected each over. kidnapping and theft. In the dc comics they made hercules a brute. But I think W. Marston was making a point in 1941. Good show. 👍😊

  2. Parthenogenesis, Amazons can reproduce by Parthenogenesis and this has become the norm with occasional trips to "Mans World" on missions used as opportunities to harvest fresh blood, most amazons will just be a different genetic expression of their Mothers.

  3. I legitimately paused this to type, man, wouldn’t that be sweet; just a sailor enjoying the freedom that comes from the sea, and then, booty. Amazonian booty. What would I give to be them. Then I pressed play and found out the rest. Damn. [><]

  4. Just feel the need to say, there actually IS a letter T in the name Hippolyta, and it is NOT meant to be silent, as it seems half the time it's said here.

Also, even when you CAN hear the T, the word is still mispronounced…

  5. The Golden Age Wonder Woman was made out of clay.

The Silver Age Wonder Woman was also made out of clay. But added a soul of a murdered female unborn child.

Modern Age Wonder Woman was another product of Zeus's wild loins and was told that she was born of clay to fool a jealous Hera.

  6. Don't forget…

Amazons are bisexual, and usually non romantic twords men (as they only fulfill the purpose).

That submission and bondage is kinda normal during the Golden Age Wonder Woman. As Diana was the mouthpiece for her creators ideas about the superiority of women over men.

(I still need to watch the biopic about him, his wife, and his secretary/accepted mistress and the creation of Wonder Wiman the character. )

  7. I remember seeing it in the comic book. That shit was so..fucked..up. I’m saying this right now, the Amazonians were just as sexist as some of the men they despised. And also, Hereacles wasn’t even villainous. In the actual story she gave him the girdle willingly. He didn’t do none of that shit to the amazons. Unlike his father, he only did it when there was consent.

  8. I’ve always known that amazons were man killers from what I remember about mythology. That’s why when I saw the story of WW, I blew it off. There is no way a being born and raised in that environment given the history of its people, would be some champion of truth and Justice for all. She’d be about women and women only; not about men. She’d no doubt be lesbian and probably a manish lesbian at that.
