I have been really curious of OLANGO ISLAND in Lapulapu, Cebu since I first heard it. Hindi ko alam na may isla pa pala talaga just across the Mactan Island. Sobrang dami kong trabaho sa lingong ito and I felt kind of drained, kaya naman ay hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko para mag isla at dahil napakalapit ng OLANGO ISLAND sa Cebu City, kaya naman eh ito ang aking napili.

The Olango Group of Islands is found in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. It comprises Olango island and 6 satellite islets namely: Caubian, Camungi, Caohagan, Gilutongan, Nalusuan, Pangan-an, and Sulpa. It is divided under the jurisdiction of the city of Lapu-Lapu and the municipality of Cordova, Cebu. It is known for its wildlife sanctuary. There are also marine sanctuaries and resorts on the island but I intentionally didn’t visit them yet so I will have more to look forward to when I return because I surely will.

📌How to get there?
📍Exact location: Brgy. San Vicente, Olango Island across Mactan, Cebu
🌴 Olango Island is only about 8-10mins. Fastcraft ride from Angasil Port. Fare is P30.
– Once you arrived at the port, look for the ticket booth of TRANS-OLANGO SHIPPING -(naa sa tumoy sa pantalan) in going to Olango Island.
▶️If using a private utility and want to bring it in the Island, you can ride the BARGE in Punta Engaño Port beside Moven Pick Hotel, fare are as follows…
