As much as it would be great to have a gigafactory in Canada, the last thing many, many Canadians want is for our prime minister to take credit for something like that.
I don’t know if it’s true that it’ll be in the Montreal area, but it would be better suited in Ontario. Ontario is better for manufacturing.

There is no chance that Tesla will build a factory in Canada if they have a problem with CA, USA!!! T here really isn’t enough demand in CA to even think about this!!! I will suggest that NC, VA, SC would make WAY more sense… 😉

I think giga canada is a very likely situation…..it will for sure be somewhere near great lakes imo. But I think it will be a battery focused gigafactory.

The thing about polestar 6 is a beautiful car and Tesla can’t make beautiful cars. It’s like having a so so girlfriend that can change a tire. Most dudes would rather have the gorgeous one and change the tire themselves.

11:55 – I'm "testing" my Model S Plaid in the extreme heat of Phoenix. It is interesting that the car today showed an outside temp of 123 F at one point, quite a bit higher than the official 108 F. It also seems that I get random "Park assist unavailable" or "Check to see if the parking sensors are obstructed" (they aren't) messages when the displayed temps are above 110 F.
I think, Quebec will have a Semi factory.

Montreal makes sense because it would allow Tesla to train a French-speaking Tesla team. This would set the stage for Tesla to build a megapack factory and or, a giga factory in Morrocco, North Africa, where they have recently started building out a super charger network. Morrocco has the world's largest reserves of iron phosphate deposits (LFP batteries). The UK is in the process of planning a 27-mile seabed tunnel from Gibraltar Spain to Morrocco. Morrocco is also Africa's largest auto manufacturer.
