Terracotta Army designed by Przemysław Fornal and Adam Kwapiński, published by Board & Dice, and Artwork by Zuzanna Kołakowska, Jan Lipiński, Aleksander Zawada is incredible. One particular endgame condition was a bit off for me, but let’s find out more in today’s review!

  1. Thanks for sharing. Great overview and review!
I enjoy thinky games where the best choice isn't obvious. But, I don't care for those that require a lot of thought to the point I can't determine what the best option is. I think this one may be the latter for me. I have so many games, so now I only get those that I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy and will be a good fit for me.
Although, I must say…. the minis do look great and the gameplay is obviously very compelling. I see what you gave it a high rating.

  2. I love a heavy euros but when there are too many cascading actions in a single turn that is a major turn off. It just makes downtime wayyy to long.

Tzolkin and Trajan have that issue where turns take wayyy too long to think about and do because of too many options

  3. Your reviews are always amazing. So full of energy!! And the B, C, and D roll… outstanding. I've got this game pre-ordered. Can't wait to get it and dive in! I don't imagine I'll have my hands on it until Late Sept or Oct though 🙁

  4. I've played this game twice now at 4 players and am loving it. There is a fair amount going on, but I really like seeing the mosaleam being built out and the worker placement part is just awesome. The end game scoring of the armies is overly complicated, but I can look past that with the amount of fun I have playing the game.

  5. I've been highly anticipating this game after loving Teotihuacan from Board&Dice and another game, Xi'an, which has a similar look and theme to Terracotta Army👍 Great overview and review! I'm now even more excited to try it🔥
