  3. I realised that only places that can't fold go on strike now. What do I mean? I will tell you.

Back in the 90's, a mine in Queensland called Gordonstone had it's workforce go out on strike, wanting more money, as they do. The strike went on for some time, cost alot of money, to both the strikers and the company, but neither would give an inch. Then a deal was struck, the workers were given what they wanted, and thought they had won. It was in writing and they had won.

What they didn't know was that Gordonstone had found a way out of it, they liquidated the company, claiming massive losses provable from the strikes. They then turned around and started a new company Kestrel and none of those who thought they had won got a job with this 'new' company. All they got was paid out any entitlements and given a wave goodbye.

So we have all the classic transport, planes, trains, trams, buses and dock workers that will strike. Teachers, nurses or any other government employee can and will strike because they can, not because they deserve a pay rise. You have had teachers abandon education of facts and history to preach rhetoric and rubbish, we have nurses aiding in a forced worldwide clinical trial, that even at the Nuremberg trials it was stated, you can not use your job as an excuse for doing nothing or for aiding in doing criminal acts. Your job doesn't protect you, neither does, I was only following orders. So these fakes and frauds masquerading as teachers and healers want more money and better conditions – well so do we want better from them, BEFORE you give them a pay rise they don't deserve for selling out their morality. If teachers were striking to get PC and indoctrination out of schools I would support that, but to give them more for being spineless jellyfish is unconscionable. If nurses were carers and not enabling human rights abuses, they too may get my support. You do not give more money to people who FAIL.

  4. You know that bus drivers, tram and train drivers, well, they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Now I know we like to give these easy jobs and security to immigrants with low skills, but how about we get our own people with low skills and get them to drive these things? Oh, just thought, posties haven't been on strike yet, wonder when that will come.

  5. Everything reeks inflation in the economy don't know who , however a person desires to pay attention to this , you have to stop relying on the government and saving all of your money . Venture into making an investment a few in case you actually want monetary freedom

  6. It stands to reason commuters would be frustrated by industrial action but what other choice do the rail workers have to increase their wages? If the state government was willing to bargain before the escalation to strikes this all could have been avoided. Shame.

  7. Elliott still doing a good job. I dont usually support this type of action but many transport workers are disadvantaged. In Qld the bus companies do not allow their drivers to uphold Qld legislation putting drivers at risk. A week does not go by when there is not an incident on our buses and both the State Govt and companies look the other way. Issues agreed in the EBA negotiations dont get implemented leaving strike action as the only way out.

  8. My workplace is going through the EBA process at the moment…but in QLD only the Unions are allowed to negotiate. …..and since Labor was voted in all they want to do is strike…regardless of what the workers say or want…

  9. the unions are just helping people stay at home to stop covid spreading – the government want people to get on the trains and go to work so covid is spread around. What was that about Novak Djokovic trying to play tennis a few moths ago?????? Politicians will never stop making stupid decisions that make them look stupid – correction, they are stupid anyway with there incessant virtue signalling……………..
