Customer SHUTS DOWN Ignorant Karen Harassing Workers

A heroic bystander waiting for his food shut down an angry Karen at a McDonald’s because she was being rude to the workers for not performing to her liking. At least this guy understands that customer attitude is playing a massive role in the current β€˜labor shortage’ we’re experiencing. Rick Strom breaks it down. 1. If they don't like, then go home to your kitchen and cook. Patience is a virtue, and if you're in a hurry, then go there earlier! She wasn't so brave with her abuse when a big guy told her off. Good!

  2. McDonald's would have no problem with hiring staff if they paid decent wages. Do you know why? Because you have no laws regulating the workers market in the US. In Denmark/Sweden a McDonald's worker earns three times one in the US AND they have five weeks paid vacation and unlimited days of paid sick leave from day one…

  3. My wife worked in a Quizno's back in the day and she is Hispanic with shall we say "limited" English. Luckily for those who abused her, I was never there to sort them out. Her black colleagues had to endure some awful incidents of overt racism. I never stand by when that stuff is happening. There are a lot of nasty people in 'merica and a lot of them have been emboldened by Trump.

  4. Nobody's stating the obvious that before Donald Trump got elected, the public was not as brazen and vile. I don't buy it's all social media exposing it.
The country got angry after Obamas presidency?

  5. I've met this woman, or at least others like her. Fortunately, I've also met people like the guy who defended the workers. Please, if you've never worked fast food (or in any other part of the service industry), don't assume that the workers are lazy or that they are deliberately doing things to anger you. Things go wrong sometimes – it's just Murphy's Law. If things do go wrong, be calm and sane when you bring it to their attention. Believe me, they do want to fix it.
Service folk are not robots or furniture. Please be polite and treat them like human beings.

  6. Lol…she told him to "shut up" and didn't know what to do when he said, "shut me up". Her casual, nonchalant attitude shows that she's totally comfortable being aggressive…at least at mealtime.

  7. This behavior is so stupid. What’s the point of getting mad about f*cking McDonalds or coffee or anything so insignificant? My daughter works at a Starbucks in a large city. She says that 1 in 10 of her customers treats the staff this way. I can see how it affects her mental health and it breaks my heart. She’s 21 so there’s not much I can do about her job. But, I will say it motivates me to tip bigger and go out of my way to be the nicest person in line. To the miserable people out there I have to say, grow up and make your own F*cking food at home if you can’t act like an adult. Also, keep you A**hole kids at home with you.

  8. I know how she votes. Just another hateful trumper. She could stand to skip more than a few of these trips to fast food joints, that's for sure. I'm sure she thinks she is special. I'd pay for that man's meal if I were there.

  10. People are leaving salaried jobs, at a vast rate, because of horrible conditions. The top 2 reasons are bad bosses and improper training. Now the fact that they are barely making ends meet is creeping into those top two.

  11. I had 8 dumbass people bitch and complain to me because my company does last call 30 minutes before we close. Like almost every if not every restaurant in Texas they bitched that they couldn't stay and drink after we closed. Had them get in my face because I was following the rules of my employers
