  1. I wanted to bring this up in the video, but some of these bosses have absolutely beautiful soundtracks. I'd highly recommend you go and listen to the Godskins and Ancestral Spirit tracks.

I'd also like to note that there is currently misleading information going around that the Godskin soundtrack contains Latin lyrics that are relevant to the lore. I strongly believe that this has been proven false (the music is constructed from pieces of Latin in music software). Currently, the only translatable Latin appears to be the song sung by the Bat creatures!

  2. It just occurred to me how absolutely parasitic the Erdtree seems, given that was kind of the feeling some people had at the very beginning of the game's release. Given that those who live heroic lives have a more valuable death throughout much of the beliefs of the people of the Lands Between, the fact that only heroes' bodies get absorbed into the Erdtree seems really like the Erdtree is just a parasite for the Greater Will. While the visuals of the Golden Order and the Lands Between under the rule of the Golden Order is very bright, holy, and natural, it definitely is extremely lovecraftian in like, almost a druidic sense. Like, yeah, it LOOKS like a tree, but it's basically a giant leech. The thought of it makes me shudder almost.

  3. I’d like to think that the spirits of ghostflame are vengeful because of the interference of the greater will in their cycle of death, and possibly it’s opposition to their outer god’s will. Quite likely making the spirits unable to move on, and the deathbirds unable to fulfil their purpose.

  4. what if the gloam eyed queen WAS marika, brainwashed and indoctrinated into the order of gold. If u cant beat destined death why not join it so u can keep it under control and locked away. This game has an insane amount of lore that's just vague enough to lean in so many different directions.

  5. I thought it Merika was the one who stole the rune of death from maliketh? He states multiples times that betrayed , tricked , or goaded him . I thought the standing theory was that merika and ranni plotted the downfall of the Elden Beast , the Order , and more directly the Fingers because they were constantly trying to replace Merika .

  6. Pertaining to the topic of this video, I’d like to answer a question that I once had and likely shared with some. Those who wondered as I did why Deathbirds, a Tibia Mariner, lots of walking Mausoleums, a Godskin Noble, and a few places where TWLiD… basically a thousand signs of Death… exist within Liurnia of the Lakes, I have a theory:

One half of the Cursemark of Death is there. Causing all of that.

  7. Ok wild theory time. I think the elden ring represents a sort of contract between the outer gods governing the order of the lands between. Marika sealed away the rune of death and while the obvious reason would be to protect her lineage and create the eternal order I think it goes deeper. I think sealing away death helped to sever the power of the twinbird and the old gods of death thus leaving erdtree burial as the only option for true rest. This allows the greater will to siphon off as much energy as possible for whatever it's true intentions are, perhaps it's a great cosmic war between all the outer gods and the lands between are merely one small battlefield out of millions.

  8. It is going to be a longtime work in progress, but I have been inspired by your videos to piece together a "lore focused" playthrough of Elden Ring, complete with ways to tie the player tarnished into the Lore as well.

  9. Is there anyone knows the lore to that huge dragon inside the capital city? How and who killed it, why there’s a bolt there, where’s it comes from?
Ahh From Software you bastard, I always hungry for the lore the game they made
