  9. Home run animation kinda sucked huh? Have to show the ball sail over the fence. MLB The Show perfected the HR animation. Love watching it go out from the 3rd person view right behind the batter. If other games could do that I'd try a lot more of them

  33. 15:20 – I'm old. I played a game called Bases Loaded as a kid. Loved that game at the time. I know EXACTLY what it's like to field a ball wrong because of the player the game itself assigns you to control. To this day, I have the occasional nightmare about those way too frequent line drives up the middle, where you were put in control of the second baseman up until the ball reached a certain point, at which time you'd be switched to the centerfielder, just in time to move him out of the path of the ball, for maximum damage. Not so good times.

  47. Pretty disappointing for a $50 game. I was skeptical when SMB3 released at $45. At least that game is worth the price. Cannot believe that this game was released in this state. Fielding is atrocious, everyone has a cannon arm, no reaction time, fly balls drop in incorrectly… and while the cut scenes try to add a little spice to the game, they are way too frequent. They mossed a lot of the details in the game as well. After the third out is made, play seems to continue and then the game cuts to the scoreboard. Left handed homerun cut scene switches the batter to right handed. Not good. Glad I didn’t pick this one up. Trailer made it look like it would be better. Not switching from SMB3 for this.
