Banning a particular firearm is 100% ineffective. You can't target the item. You have to target the population. The Air Force doesn't just let anyone fly a plane just because they pass the technical exams. They have to be shown to be psychologically fit. I know that's the military, not civilian life, but the military wouldn't do it if it wasn't necessary. And if you choose the legal option over the necessary option, you're only shaming your children by continuing to follow that particular law. Common sense should always take priority over precedent. And common sense tells me that people not only need to be qualified to own guns, but qualified in general if guns are so easy to get in the US, as every anti-gun control advocate loves to assert. If you aren't going to confiscate the guns, then I expect you to cultivate better people, by force if necessary.

In Australia we had a massacre in 1996 where 35 people where killed and a further 23 injured. Guess what we passed gun regulations. Guess how many further gun related massacres have happened since. Let me tell you. None. Stop being dim. Regulate guns, stop with your ridiculous excuses and step up. Put aside your individual desires and start thinking about how a society may or may not work

Look at what is different. Its not how we respond to crime, or drug use, or gangs… we have all that.. but what we don't have is hundreds and thousands of gun related deaths a year… the only difference is that there are regulations on who can purchase and, on what kind of gun people might be able to buy.

It is a straight-up lie to pretend that today's guns are anything like the weapons that existed at the time of framing of the Constitution. The framers were only talking about the guns that existed in that day. Single shot weapons maybe double shot, that should be the max for legal firearms in the US. That would eliminate mass shootings. We need to get rid of guns that shoot more than one or two bullets at a time or in rapid succession. That's what the framers knew of guns. Stop pretending that the second amendment was written for your psycho asses to have as many guns and as much ammo as you want! You're wrong! Things will be changing!

Blah blah blah! What I want to know, do these manufacturers intentionally flood neighborhoods who are known to have gun violence issues. And I'm not talking about selling guns directly, but through other channels which would get illegal guns in the hands of neighborhoods that are extremely prone to use them, not for protection, but for criminal activities. If so, then they should be held accountable similar big pharma. If not, then no issue here. The pro gun lobby and people just always muddy the water so no one can figure what's going on.
