1st party controllers ABSOLUTELY have better warranties than 3rd party my series 1 White Elite controller had a year long warranty that covered EVERYTHING you could smash the controller with a hammer at 11 months get a brand new one and then get a new 12 month warranty. Although i’ve never needed to use it because my Elite series 1 has lasted since 2018 in perfect working condition 1st party (at least with microsoft) always beats third party
The buttons under the thumb sticks are the FN buttons. I’m not sure how I feel about this controller, I am used to a 4 paddle set up so I will have to see what people think once it’s released

People are hopeful the Sony Edge comes out this year due to the fact that Sony does make mention you're going to be playing God Of War Ragnarok with it.

Just picked up a PS5 after being an Xbox gamer for 10+ years. I was absolutely in love with the Razer Wolverine Ultimate TE. Best controller I’ve ever put my hands around. Hopefully this controller is worth the $$$ it seems like most pro controllers don’t provide enough value for the heft price tags. Fingers crossed!!!

Man, I’m stoked to finally know more about this, but bummed that it’s probably going to be awhile, so I should probably get a different controller in the meantime. That said, when is that ultimate PS5 controller tier list video you mentioned coming out?? I can’t buy a controller in good conscience until you release it! I’ve been leaning toward Scuf, but people online saying their build quality/reliability being poor has me very hesitant.

My opinion, going with piano black is an awful move. The cheap textured black plastic is cheap but at least it won't display dust & smudging as easily as the glossy piano black finish. Super excited to see how the rear buttons are affected by the different button-tips (button, lever, etc.)

Too little, too late. Bought the Elite MK2 when it released and became favorite controller immediately. It's nice how the Elite naturally works with PC as well. Can play a PC game then go back to Xbox and have the same profiles. Only two buttons on the back of this new PS5 controller? COME ON. At least four buttons are needed on the back of a controller. Need four buttons to not have to use face buttons.

4:53 the FN (function buttons) are under the analog sticks. you can see "FN" when the analog modules/pods are pulled out
I don't think it will take till the end of next year to get it, my prediction is the end of this year or Jan/Feb next year.
