I couldn’t get through the entire first episode. The main character was such a bitch as a teenager that I wanted to snatch her ass up myself.
Personally I enjoyed the show – I can’t believe the volume of haters for it, they seem to be of the mind that the games (or the movies?) were canon / a religious script that could not be deviated from. Have they never read a book the seen a movie inspired from it, or remake/reboot of an old show? I approached Netflix’s Resident Evil in isolation and enjoyed and spotted the current cultural references and questions – was it excellent? No but neither does it desire the ire of such FANatanics.

I've always thought of zombie, and vampire stories as metaphors for addiction. The comparisons are obvious if you've been through it.
This show was one of the worst shows i have ever seen. Dont call is resident evil if the 15 games isnt enough material to make a GOOD RE show. There is so many great stories, depth to the heros/villains and great set pieces in all the games that this show is slap in the face of everyone who designed them.

I couldn't get through the first episode because I was thinking "this is NOT Resident Evil" but now looking at this…I'm intrigued. I wonder if it would've been better received if it were not called Resident Evil.
Wow you compared needing the blood to actually live to addiction. That’s way off. Addiction is terrible, but it’s a choice at first, maybe your making that decision behind the curve family history etc, but it’s a still a choice, and one you may lose after a while. But needing a substance to actual live is a way different.
Doesn't matter how colorful you picture it to people and how hard you try to convince them show has a hidden meaning… its still absolute pile of dog s…. every single character is one dimensional and so unlikable I was cheering for T Virus. Horrible music and bad decision in every situation makes this show so bad and all characters incredibly stupid. It has nothing to do with Resident Evil, should never be named that.

What did you think of the first season?
I think all the past parts were the best thing about the show. The actors, script, scenery, story, etc. The future parts were laughable. The last 3 episodes were a chore.
I watched episodes 1-7 last night and just finished episode 8, definitely enjoyed the season. The last few batch of episodes were pretty fun and intriguing. Bert and Albert were def the best part of the season too.
