CHI with yet another win over a playoff caliber team. They have won 8 of their last 12 overall. I know some fans may not agree, but this team will be better next season. I've seen them have quality wins over contenders. Congrats on the win CHC 👍.

Brewer fan here,….but this team is sorely an underachiever. Fifty two years and one losing World Series appearance is testament. Brewer faithful deserve better.

So let me get this straight. Counsell would rather pull his starter who has a no hitter going after 6 complete innings having only thrown 82 pitches? With the lead no less. Rather than have opposing hitters have a 3rd Crack at him? I understand the whole analytical side of baseball and all that. Well no every single aspect of it but I've got the gist of it. Sometimes though you've got to go with your gut. I'm a cubs fan and I'll tell you this: I was beyond elated to see Peralta pulled for a bullpen arm. The guy was dealing. I mean maybe Peralta doesn't get no no but you're leading the game shouldn't counsell at least give him the opportunity to stay in until he allows that hit or at the very least any base runner. Ffs he had only walked 1 guy. If I'm Peralta I'm not too happy with my manager for a couple of days. As much as analytics has helped the sport its stuff like this that I think has hurt it in a big way. I'm a cubs fan and I'm this emotional over this. I can't even imagine what brewers fans are thinking. Wow this loss is on Counsell. Sorry Brewers fans, and I mean it. Your manager robbed your fanbase of possibly seeing something special

As a brewer fan, this game just about erased any remaining hope I had that they could make the playoffs. Their inability to take advantage of opportunities and win games they have to was on full display. So many runners left on base, bullpen blows out, and questionable decisions from counsell
The cubs healthy are actually a decent team. They just need some bullpen help and maybe a big bat or two and they could be sneaky good next season.
