the way she stated "it's weird" about seeing Johnny cry, sounded really agressive and belittling.
instead of saying seeing "my husband cry" or "Johnny" she states seeing a "grown man cry" as if it is a dig at him.
it reminds me of how in my trauma group it is often brought up that after a narcissist hurts you, they tend to get angry with you for crying, because they don't care about you, so crying to them is unsettling as these emotions don't come naturally to them, and neither does consoling a person.
most narcissists are repulsed by others crying or they will laugh to further humiliate them. they can pretend to care for only so long before they get angry or act in an odd non empathetic way to the person crying.
This was a good act.
