WHERE IS CAROLS INFIDELITY ON THIS LIST! I never understood why people just ignored the fact that Carol cheated on Ross! She lied over and over again. Tbh, I agree with a theory that Carol & Susan wanted a baby & basically used Ross without his consent! Like why would Carol consent to sleeping with Ross so far into her relationship with Susan?! 🤷🏻♀️On top of that, the way they basically tried to cut Ross out or at the very least overpower him when it came to the pregnancy & the baby!
Nothing wrong with a bit of fat shaming, being fat is not a good thing at all.
Oh yes. The show that took place in the most diverse city in the world yet all the main characters were white, straight, and wealthy. Which one is the worst? All of this series!
What bothers me is that when Paolo sexually harrased Phoebe, all the attention was focused on Rachel as if she's the victim, because Paolo wasn't who Rachel thought he was and now she has to break up with him. But no one paid attention to Phoebe who was the real victim.
In Ross defense, Chandler came up with the List idea, and Chandler and Joey didn’t thought that was wrong. Yes, Ross wrote it. But his List wasn’t meant to be bad, after all the “bad” qualities that Rachel has, he love her still
Ross always obsessed about gendernorms, while he himself is even less of a men than my little sister 😜
“Insults her job”
Isn’t he ridiculed for being passionate about Dinosaurs and choosing it as a career path for like whole of the series?
Carol and Susan were cheaters. The way they treated Ross re: his son…….bad. His gender problems are sick.
more than the "dumbification" of joey, it feels more annoying with phoebe
Oh, so you forgot it was a sitcom in 90 and 00. All the moments are forgiven by the 80 and 90 kids 🙂 We know what a distance and good humor is 🙂 in TV show 🙂
Omg!!!! Its a joke not a dick. Dont take it so hard. 🤣😂🤣
Ppl are getting to woke to were they cant enjoy anything. Lame.
It’s a TV show people. From 25 years ago at that. Good god. We have lost all sense of humor. Still the best show ever made.
Everytime I see a msmojo friends video I cry tears of joy
Number 1 should've just been Ross Period!
Nothing to forgive. It's been almost 30 years since it started. It happened. Let it go!!!
Stop making this about “wrongs” and “rights” we learn with this show. I dislike how Nowadays everything is soo sensitive! It was how many years ago. As gay as I am I still love the show. Despite the whole malign fun of Chandler for coming off as “gay”. Get a grip and move on #missmojo can’t come up with more 💩
Having grown up during the AIDS crisis under Republicans, I feel this was a pretty good way of dealing with trans people at that time. Now, with trans people being more visible, Chandler's arc with Helena would be bad. But, at the time, given the political and social climate, it was fine. All the Friends eventually embraced Helena.
monica dating ethan.
I'll defend the "Moo point". While the term is supposed to be "moot point", when Joey explain it, as Rachel says, "is makes sense". A cows point doesn't matter.
Aside from the Ross stuff (we've all known forever he's toxic with no redeeming qualities) most of this list just proves how overly sensitive the world has become 🙄
The part about Ross's cousin (the part about Ross and Monica kissing was one of the most hilarious scenes)…Mojo you probably never want to watch Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon…just saying 🤷♀
I never saw the appeal of FRIENDS. The show may have been about friends, it was really about Marta Kaufman's pathetic life. Those so-called jokes, were actually about Marta Kaufman. The fat jokes, the gay jokes, the cross dressing father … etc. You nam it. This is why Marta is HATED in Hollywood. HATED !!
Thing is. The show wasn't made today. So stop compairing it
Aside from the fact that she's played by someone born a woman, I actually think Helena is a strong positive trans character once we got to meet her. Not counting things said prior to season 7. The 90s and early 2000s were a very different time.
Thaaaaank God Friends came out before this "woke" generation movement! 🙄🙄
Wait you guys are actually taking things from this show seriously? It's a comedy show made in the 90s anyone watching this show knows everything is for jokes and light hearted. I've never seen a comedy show with a serious message in it besides fresh prince.
i recently watched the fun bobby episode and i did find it poor how they treated his alcoholism. i know its just a sitcom, but friends really had a way of treating serious shit like a joke. i also think that ross is a perfect example of what can happen to a person who ignores their obvious issues. it isnt until later in the series when we get the idea that maybe jack and judy werent that great parents to ross despite their favouritism while ross obviously had relationship issues after what happened with carol but he just let them fester and sabotage certain aspects of his life.
What about the time that Monica expected to use all of chandler’s savings for their wedding! Even though she later came to her senses, i feel it was still so wrong for her to ask that of him in the first place.
Why always Emily narrates F.R.I.E.N.D.S. videos?
I didn't like the one dimensional Julie who was a smiley appeasing girl and the beautiful Charlie too. Just arm candy for Ross and no personality of their own.
I’m surprised “WE WERE ON A BREAK” didn’t make the list
give it a rest , the show was in the 90s , opening doors to adoption , single mothers , homosexuality , …. the list goes on and on . I think Ross is characterized like any other first born son , with all of his good and bad manners , we all make mistakes .
What about when Monica slept with the 17-year-old this list is bs all it does is pound on Ross I can think of 10 things you can put for each one of these characters out there but it's all about Ross
As a gay man and Friends fan myself, I don't think Chandler was necessarily homophobic towards his father; it was mostly his coming out that ended his parents' marriage when Chandler was a child (during the family holiday of Thanksgiving to add insult to injury). That can be very traumatic for any child and some carry it for most of their lives before they can reconcile it as adults.
And as a minor note, Charles Bing/Helena Handbasket (love that pun!) was never actually identified as a full-on transgendered character. There was no mention if he switched his pronouns or gender and he was mostly portrayed as a drag queen. Granted he was player by a cis-actress so perhaps it was left to our imagination.
Furthermore sitcoms and series of the past are a reflection of their eras and show what the world was in times gone by. It's really no different to comedians making jokes about the issues of today at the expense of various members of their audience. Instead of overly criticizing these sitcoms, maybe we can just appreciate how much the world has improved.
I really worry that cancel-culture may be getting a bit out of hand these days. It's like no one is allow to enjoy anything anymore…
It was funny when it aired & it's still funny. Lighten tf up Ms. Mojo, geez! 🙄 Unsubscribed.
Just when I saw the title I knew, most stuff would be about Ross. Sure, the show never aged well, we know that, but he was bad even back then
How many 90`s sitcoms have been aged horribly ?!? its becoming longer and longer at least Will & Grace is the only sitcom from the 90`s that still flies today
so this is a "woke" rant about the show. Sure, some moments like joeys relationship with Rachel, and joey's dumbed down charecter was hurtful to every viewer but the rest provided us with creating really great show
All of it! Very cringeworthy show, couldn't not get into it.
Ross was the main reason i rarely watched friends.
How did Judy's abhorrent treatment of Monica not make the list?
I hate they are putting today’s terms against the timeframe this was aired
Ross hitting on his own cousin is THE WORST
Okay, so Ross dated a student. So did Monica and Rachel (well, briefly, but anyway).
I never thought that Chandler's father's storyline was bad. Any child would have difficulties dealing with parents divorce and understanding why dad likes now boys and dresses like a woman. But Chandler wanted to learn and forgive, and invited his father to his wedding and even called him beautiful. In my opinion that was a perfect way to show that their relationship was healed.
Ross also attended Carol's and Susan's wedding, and showed some growth there dealing with that stuff.
There are of course problems on this show, but to make a show interesting and entertaining characters have to have flaws and they have to make stupid decicions, because perfect and vanilla characters aren't interesting. And if you start to look at these over 20 year old shows too closely from this day's perspective, everything can start to seem wrong, even the smallest jokes.
Friends remains my die hard fave sitcome, that I still binge watch to this day. The problem is the world has lost its sense of humor. There is a difference in joking and shaming. So again I say if you're offended by the jokes of a sitcom don't watch the sitcom
Wow, please don’t do that to classic show like Friends. Times were different, that’s why everything gets a reboot these days. But does anyone actually wants a friends reboot? No. Because this show was perfect and nobody could replace these 6 people
I think you guys at Mojo are a little too woke. This show was hysterical! Just take it as being funny-we don’t need to take the humor out of EVERYTHING.
I’ll agree with Ross and his cousin though…
