5:37 i think i remember hearing as to why Belichick is not on madden, and it isn't because he asked not to be in there, iirc it is because he isn't affiliated with the NFL coaches association or something similar to the NFLPA, which are the organizations that EA bargains with to license the coaches' and players' name and image as part of their games so they can then sell them to you (which is different from the NFL teams themselves and their logos, thing that is another entity they have to negotiate with), and since Belichick isn't part of the coaches association, EA cannot use his name, image or likeness, or something like that
I miss the NFL 2K games. Madden never quite measured up, and always costed more than it should considering how little the game actually changed each year. It’s a shame the NFL sold out and handed EA an uncontested monopoly.

I would argue Cooper Kupp had the greatest WR season of all time . He won the triple crown, neither of which Calvin or Jerry did in their best seasons(counting 87’ as Jerry’s best season). He also won the SB which neither did and won MVP .

Player ratings aren’t a reward system. They’re synthesized by attribute scales that are supposed to attempt accurately portray each individuals’ propensities, habits, physical skill sets, etc.
They're the only game in town, so there isn't as much motivation for them to make a better product.

Davonte Adams in one of the 99 OVRs but he runs like a 4.54. His athleticism isn't anything special he was just in really good synch with the best QB in the league. Now he's being thrown to by QB #16. Carr + Davonte is gonna be decent but that 99 OVR is gonna look stupid as hell.

Mike Williams is a playmaker but that doesn't make u a number 1 WR Keenan Allen is a true 1. N he does it without being elusive or fast so that alone says how good he is. If Mike Williams was slow he wouldn't be in the league.
