I miss the old toby.
I lost a younger sister 11 years ago and my oldest brother 3 years ago. This song truly says it all. Every thought I've had since. Especially my sister, she was my baby girl, only 37 years old, and her death was so unexpected. Marlee you have an absolutely beautiful voice young lady and I will be on the lookout for more from you ma'am. Toby you've out done yourself as always. Been a fan since DC Talk days. This song breaks me. I cant imagine the pain. Im crying just thinking of my kids. May God protect them.
This line "You want the truth to be a lie" in this song hit me deep within, reminding me of the time last May 2021, when I first found out my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the liver from a biopsy report. She lived her life, especially the last year of her life, praying and serving her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ faithfully; and left me and my surviving family an example to follow which is: knowing how to suffer patiently while still trusting the Lord that He is GOOD and knows what's best.
