to my understanding the devs of Withstand were not happy what so ever with Withstand so they decided to rebuild it from the ground up. haven't played this YET (I need to get back into MIST after that awesome update), so I can't say much Kage
Nice run boss. Most of the loot in this game is on top of things. Parkour is key in locating seeds and food. The greenhouse needs to be a priority untill they balance out the hunger meter. Hope updates come out quick for this game. Stinks about Withstand. I enjoyed that series. The difficulties in being a lone developer. Keep up the good work.
Watch (gamers edge) mushrooms baked on campfire in game supossibly they grow everywhere in the forest
Yes, pick the mushrooms! You can see them more easily at night…glow etc…but more dangerous due to the infected out at night. Great start to the game!
You can use the night vision on the camera to find the mushrooms to cook and eat with the campfire and also to find the wood on the ground and it also helps to find the stuff to collect
Well water has to be filtered or treated before it can be potable. Homes usually have water softening systems as well that use a salt system that neutralizes the number of metals in the water. You can safely use straight well water for bathing and washing, although your whites will get ruined lol lots of iron in well water
Be VERY careful with your food. Only eat when you absolutely need to. Food is scarce and a real problem in this beta. Also it's meant to be real dark. That's why you have to use your nightvision on the camera.
I like the idea of the base building but think they should of copied state of decay a bit more with the buildable spaces so you have that choice of being able to choose what facility to build in what build square like they did in state of decay, seems like your limited in the base building aspect of the game otherwise.

Wells are safe if they are in the mountains. If you build them near cities anything that seeps into the ground water table will effect your well. The safest form of water on Earth is water coming from the bottom of a glacier. The ice is millions of years old before we had pollution. BC in Canada has several creeks that are glacier feed. The water is so clear and ice cold.
Ground water can be completely safe to drink or it could have lots of polutents in it. Generally deeper wells are safer.

You can destroy turrets with melee and loot them afterwards.
You always need to filtered for different reasons, particles that are too big or damaging for the pumps to even others for chemicals, that's why dropping things like oil or other things to the ground is so heavily punished but many times not applied

Oh this is another game that I would play on console if it comes to console once it's done being developed otherwise I'll play it on PC.
It beats for you to grow your food' To find food in this game is so hard and you need to make tools to do stuff and you have a infinite legian of the undead radioactive zombies always trying to eat you. ;P….ps if you need food the only thing is mushrooms that are in the woods cook thin eat .:)

No it still needs to be filtered because of dirt, bacteria, and bugs
It looks fun, but I'm not happy that you have to build things at certain locations, would rather be able to place it where I want to.

Make campfire, cook food. Gather mushrooms in the forest. Maybe make the cooking station? The quests don't seem to cover everything you need for survival.
