How did you feel about seeing David Archer again? Did his story affect you?
Characters who became war assets are not combat crew like in Mass Effect 2. Jack is one of them.
I love your accent! Lol
Oh oh oh and I loved the Mattock assault rifle, super accurate!
For my vanguard character, I tended to replace pistols with the lighter assault rifles. I would re-add pistols once I upgraded the guns I wanted fully. I would also use the lightweight materials mods to lighten the guns even more. At that point, my recharge speed with all three weapon classes equipped would still be over 100.
The specter store has a shotgun called the Paladin, you will like it with your style of play.
If you do a replay bring EDI to this mission. She has some sweet dialogue with David, its very wholesome.
Going for little weight is exactly the way to go with a vanguard. Two guns are usually enough. The Venom shotgun is pretty good imo.
In order to try out more guns I would recommend other playthroughs. Sniper rifles e.g. are something to try as an Infiltrator.
You can also try out weapons on the Citadel in the Spectre Requisitions, just do a hard save before you buy guns so you can reload in case you don't like them.
My last Vanguard playthrough was with a single weapon, +200% recharge speed – my son, noticing that I was using my gun as a fancy poking stick, commented that most people also shoot guns. Recharge was just so good I cycled constant power usage, hardly ever used the gun for anything but melee.
RE the Mech – you can actually use any mech you run into. Just focus fire on the cockpit, break the glass and kill the pilot. Then you can crawl in and pilot it yourself.
Reapers are targeting fuel depots – one of the "Scanned" locations in most systems is floating fuel salvage where fuel depot's were in the previous game.
Hiya Kim, have to say I am now very sad, I found your channel about month ago and have binged your ME1 and ME2 videos.
I have now caught up and am sad that I have to wait a week for new videos…
You have earned a new subscriber and I suppose I’ll just have to start watching some of your other series… oh no 😉
The fact that Jack isn't a shipboard companion adds a level of complexity to continuing her romance. It really feels like a long-distance relationship. That said, her romance is tied with Tali's for my favorite Broshep romance. Jack's is very touching AND it has probably the single dirtiest dialogue exchange in all of Mass Effect.
There's a priority mission late in the game where its really really good to bring Javik. It doesn't change the main story but it has a lot of follow up content with Liara.
Visiting the Citadel between each mission is safe, the only way for side quests to disappear is if you progress through too many priority missions.
I got 100 percent pure southern accent, born and raised in Texas. I get told crap about accent i just ignore them, then depending how nasty the person was about I will put extra southern tang into speaking to that person 🙂 I am sick of work when family gets sick or passes away I live hundreds of miles away from them..I'm sick of working too. Also people have told em my accent makes me sound ignorant.
Anderson and Kahlee relationship will be discussed a little more (not alote )in citadel dlc.My opinion the citadel dlc is best done right before the final mission to get all the content you can.
This episode was particularly enjoyable, maybe because you got to have so many good interactions with NPCs. Each BioWare game gets a bit better with making supporting cast seem like real, living people.
For weapon mods, your squadmates don't benefit from accuracy or stability. Their accuracy is managed strictly by the game's AI. You want to bump their damage and either penetration (for shooters like Garrus and James) or power damage for powers-based crew like the others.
I love your mind body heart and soul your hella funny gorgeous your voice is amazing I got nothing but love ❤ for you kim I love watching you play mass effect and glory to God praise Jesus that you are feeling better you still did really good last episode even though you were sick but am very happy 😃 your doing great now boo 100
Excellent meme. Has to be "Yavick" for the rest of the playthrough now.
@ 46:14 Kim:" Better safe than sorry…"
,,, Maybe that should be "Better SAVE than sorry", no? 😅
As far as guns go, please don't listen to folks saying you need to use every single type of gun, and every single model of that type of gun; that is complete B.S.
The best way to go about it is to go to the Citadel Specter Office (in the Embassies section of the Citadel), use the shooting range there to figure out which guns "feel" good for you, and then upgrade the guns that you like by buying the next-level version – for example, if you like the Eviscerator I shotgun, buy the Eviscerator II, then Eviscerator III, then Eviscerator IV, and so on, as high as you can, up to level X.
Buying or finding the next model of any particular gun upgrades ALL of that particular gun's stats, making those guns do more damage, have more ammo, be more accurate, etc., and MOST importantly, it lowers that weapon's weight with every upgrade – thus improving your power cooldowns/recharge speed – making the guns lighter and lighter with each upgrade you obtain by buying the next level gun, or finding the gun's next level on missions (if you just give a few more seconds of careful searching in each area of the mission).
Also, the Asari-made weapons (Disciple, Acolyte, etc.) tend to be the lightest, and the Krogan-made weapons (Blood Pack, Claymore) tend to be the heaviest; just something you might want to know when picking your load-out.
Hey, Kim. I wanted to say that your English is great! In fact, I didn't even notice any accent at all at first. Only after a few videos I guessed English wasn't your first language. I wish more people learned foreign languages as well as you did!
P. S. The Eviscerator is one of the best shotguns in the game, better than your Scimitar, in my opinion. It's relatively light and does a fuckton of damage. I always pick it for my Vanguards + a lightweight pistol. The Sturm-und-Drang Vanguard playstyle really doesn't need anything more.
This girl is such an absolute dork and I am totally here for it xD Have a like you nerd 🙂
00:48 ohhhh.. my favourite tv show of all times makes an appearance 🤗
An interesting fact: Mass Effect 3 (not the Legendary Edition, unfortunately) used to have multiplayer which was really fun to do. The Cerberus Lab we've secured here was one of the playable maps. You could play as asari, turians, salarians and even krogans. Humans, too, obviously, but playing as other species was really cool.
It's nice to see Britney featuring, i love that song too 😊 "She's so lucky, she's a star" ✌️
Man, i remember when i saw David back when i played ME3. I cried my eyes out, remembering the horrible things his brother did to him. Overlord is such a tragic and well-written story, you have to wonder why it had to be DLC in the first place.
Probably to avoid traumatizing squeamish people like me, i guess :/
it felt good to save david in 2. i sent him off to grissom academy. but one time i didnt play the dlc with him in it, so in 3 when i got to that part, he wasnt there
Your English is lovely Kim, ignore the idiots complaining about the odd word mispronounced now and then. I don't think you need any other weapons – your biotic attacks are devastating with your current cooldown.
I teared up aagain! I hate this game!
"Shut up, don't call them birds, even though they are kinda birds." Had to pause the video from laughing so hard.
Always save David, The shit that poor guy went through is so wrong and even fully renegade Shep can see it when I am playing. The end of Overlord and the reunion are both a serious hit in the heart. And Gavin archer deserves much more than a smack in the head.
hello you are pretty
Fun fact: David also recognizes EDI if she's with you because during the last fight in the Overlord DLC he tried to interface with the Normandy.
I could use my actual Native American language. But nobody except me would understand what I'm saying. Which is can be fun when you're cussing out a white guy in Navajo.
Upgrade the Avenger assault rifle as much as possible, and use the extended barrel and scope mods. It gives you an option to keep your distance when needed. There's certain enemies that you do not want to get too close to. An upgraded avenger assault rifle is light enough, that I shouldn't effect your recharge speed too much. There's also armor mods that improve your recharge speed.
