A Mini Adventure At Drive Dad's Car

We visit Drive Dad’s Car at Ambergate in Derbyshire, where I take to the wheel of some classic Mini cars. A great day out, that had me grinning from ear to ear!

  1. A lovely day out and a pleasure to help with the footage. You really captured the experience with a mix of old and very old minis 😃 Thanks for taking us along with you and allowing Trev to ride in the back of the cooper 👍🏻 Loved the video, something a bit different on your channel 😃💙🚐🚐 Trev n Sue

  2. What a lovely thing to do Bob,a drive in the past, brings back memories just watching you and seeing some of the other lovely motors. Remember my brother had an immaculate clubman 1275GT, think he cleaned it more than drove it 😅

  3. I'm not envious at all, Bob! 😂 It was fascinating to see how the Mini has evolved over the years. I noticed that the steering wheel in the Mini Sport is identical to the one in my MGF, which is a common practice among various makes and models in the BMC/BL/MG range.

  4. Thanks Bob, that brings back memories and looks like great fun. I think I would have to spend a week there driving all the cars I used to have and the ones I couldn’t afford 😅. I was just as excited as you watching the video. Do you have to book a spot or can you just turn up because I would love to go there when we come across this year. 👍

  5. Thanks Bob. It was brilliant to see all the old cars from the past. I past my driving test in1969 so I have previously driven most of them and owned a few as well including a number of minis.. The first that hits you most of all is how small they are compared with modern day cars.
