  1. great reports dude, we definitely made some mistakes in that last game for sure. the heat and noise were killer.

the drones being in a line was mostly because of something you said about the lance faq, I obviously misunderstood XD I thought it was odd. being hungover and cooking in my own juices didn't help 😛

I only attacked with 4 drones in that first combat (the lance being 120mm wide so I can fit 4x50mm bases in)
I shot 1 knight off with a stand and shoot and then made a ridiculous amount of poison rolls after you did 1 whole wound 😂

their movement was 2 at this stage but they only needed to make a 6 inch charge to reach the questing knights.
In that combat they didn't even attack, the skull chariot and prince killed them to a man.

they then overran into 5 skirmishing archers who failed a fear test and were wiped out easily in your turn… which let me overrun next to the prophetess and kill her in my next turn with a lucky 3w deaths head shot. that let me fly again and not rely on overruns to move.

the Duke was a mistake, I was still ranked up from the last combat and you charged into me and I played them as open order rather than skirmish… my bad, I owe you many beers.

it was the most fun game of the whole event because of how delirious we both were at the end.

  2. I hear Uprising: Adelaide had really good air-conditioning, licenced venue with QR codes on the tables, so you can have your adult beverages brought to your table whilst you play, lots of room between tables, with no tables end to end, 2 food trucks, baristas and the venue kiosk. Only 16 players this year but aiming to expand for next year.

  3. Cheers for the callout and details of our game, I had a total blast (hence playing all the way to turn six) even though that dang Illusion caster was a major problem. It was in fact the worst trouble I had with magic over the whole tournament. I wouldn't exactly recommend going with no magic, but it was less punishing than I imagined. You've earned yourself an overdue Patreon signup 😄
