Super Sonic vs Super Shadow was straight hands. The hands in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 were elite. Sonic was disrespecting Shadow with some of the craziest combos I’ve ever seen.

4:18 You actually made a mistake here. Sonic DOES knock Shadow across 3 different countries with those 3 attacks, BUT what follows is them both clashing with each other and fighting while flying across the world, not Sonic "ping ponging" Shadow. During those 3 attacks he first did you can see Shadow recovering in mid air faster each time Sonic hit him until eventually he broke out of the combo and they started flying across the world in their fight which Shadow actually won thx to that teleporting kick, but he made the mistake of making Sonic angry and he got cheap shotted while he was off guard which sent him to the moon. Shadow in the movie is actually way stronger than Sonic.
Further proof about the "ping ponging" is that if Sonic actually WAS ping ponging Shadow you would see 2 streaks of light when they were fighting across the world. The first streak would be Shadow being sent away and then immediately after youd see the second streak (Sonic) chasing after him to hit him again, but instead its just 1 streak which means they were both right next to each other instead of one of them comboing the other.
Yeah people glaze those inhibitor rings too much. Imagine you have a limiter for chaos energy and then turn super (which amps up chaos energy) and you take off said rings. He would not be able to finish off Sonic before absolutely destroying his body.
I could see him beating base movie Sonic by taking them off but not modern game Sonic. Sonic would outlast him.
