  1. I don’t know why parents so rarely believe their children. Scared to believe the stories we know they have heard from their own grandparents. These legends are born from people before them actually seeing something real. I am not fond of folks that only believe when they must see it for themselves first.

  2. For the second story, I have a hypothesis of fairy or fae folk being seen by those with alcohol or some other addictive drug like substance in their system. The hypothesis is that the fae or little people emit a strange pheromone or chemical, we can call this "glamour", that alters the area of our brain that functions imagination and perception, much like our brain with our nose in our vision, causes us to imagine they aren't there. And what inhibits this imagination in the brain? Alcohol or drug like substances. Therefore that's why most Irish speak of the "Little People" that the Irish tend to see, often right after a visit from the tavern.

I lived by Edgewood Arsenal(Aberdeen Proving Grounds)I to grew up there, well the Edgewood Side, what used to be known as "Ft Hoyle" Edgewood on the Bush River.. I lived there from 1980-April 2024,raised my kids there.. just left, moved to Arizona in April.. some of my best memories are of there, back home..

  5. The guy with earbuds in the first story is on a different level of stupid: why would anyone with a functioning brain do something like that?
Hearing what happens around you ESPECIALLY IN THE WOODS is vital!
What if you don't hear a predator approaching or, even worse, a cub… you think a cougar approaching you is scary? Try the proverbial overprotective mama bear.

  6. Do you do disappearances? Western Canada has been seeing a crazy increase of disappearances over the past few years and there's whispers of a seriel killer on highway 19 and 19a – specifically the 53 kms from nanaimo heading towards CR

  7. I am a born and bred Marylander. I spend as much time in the forest as possible and have done so since I was a small child. Backstory: I have traveled to over fifty nations and wild camped in very remote locations, I can absolutely identify wildlife, scat, and tracks. Almost every time I go hiking in my forest, I encounter something I can not explain. It is honestly unusual to spend three hours in the forest without experiencing something. I am used to it. I am absolutely silent in the woods. People and dogs will walk within a few feet of me without knowing I am there. Deer, foxes, and the occasional coyote approach me out of curiosity. I stumble over snakes and massive snapping turtles. Often, the mammals get too close, and I have to startle them off. Deer, foxes, and coyotes snuffling at me in the wild is weird. In Asia and Africa, the wild elephants, wild buffalo, zebras, and gazelles would approach me and do the same. Primates love to throw things at me, especially the ones in Central America. Anyhoo, there are things in the woods of Maryland I can not explain. There are definitely cryptids. I have been spooked out many times. When the forest goes silent, you leave. You absolutely do not walk in the woods after dark. The screaming thing is out there. It sounds like a woman being destroyed. I know we have mountain lions even though wildlife experts will deny it, but I promise, the screaming thing is mot a mountain lion, fox, raccoon, or coyote. I have had eyes on bipeds I can not explain. Not Sasquatch. Something else. Maryland is weird. Do not go into the forest at night unless you are with friends. I adore camping, but there is no way I would camp alone in my beloved forest alone or unarmed. Even with a fully protection trained German Shepherd at my side, there were times I did not feel safe. When his ruff came up and he just stared, one knows whatever the dog is looking at is not good.
