It’s honestly clean enough to rebuild OEM. A modern master cylinder for the front, and she’ll be good! Incredibly surprised none of the linkage bolts or swingarm bolt were seized

I Have a nice 88 resto modded ugly brother to the more popular 89 but in my eyes these are the real golden era bikes, youle find the 88 has unique gearbox ratios. the remade plastics for the 88 are shit good luck colour matching

Restomod means for a 500 means bigger forks, better breaks, and more dampening for the handlebars(they vibrate you to death)
last year I got to ride my grandpa's BRC KTM 500 it was absolutely insane
Just got done with our KX 500 bill it's a 525 panthera electric start and is a complete retro build so clean.
