Oldsmobile 455 Dyno Crisis RESOLVED! Uncle Bob and Jegs to the Rescue!

In our last video Uncle Bob of Street Racing Channel / The Old Man’s Garage fame and I ran into a flywheel problem, but PRW and Jegs to the rescue! The flywheel we THOUGHT was what we needed for the Oldsmobile 455 build to go no the dyno turned out to be the wrong one, however Uncle Terry and Jegs got us hooked up with a brand new PRW unit IN STOCK! Just a quick little 2 hour drive to get it!

Everyone’s continued interest and support of this project has been awesome over the last few days, thank you all! As this 455 Oldsmobile build comes to a close and we move on to the two Pontiac 350 projects and others, I hope everyone continues to enjoy and support the channel!

  1. Back in the 90’s there was a company called Woods Mnf that built wood carb spacers called super sucker. My engineer builder at the time loved those or a poly spacer more than the aluminum spacers. Said it kept heat from the gas in the carb he would dyno with different size and material type spacers. My little .60 over 327 actually picked up 2-3 hp with the wood 2 inch spacer. They were treated with something that wouldn’t allow gas to soak the wood spacer. Just a memory that came up with the name super sucker
