Japan’s annual New Year airborne training exercise included a lot of friendly nations: 12 nations participated Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States
In this video, Jeffrey J. Hall, a lecturer who teaches and researches about Japanese international relations & politics at Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS), discusses the social media reaction to this airborne exercise and how this event demonstrates Japan’s increasing efforts to cooperate with likeminded states that see China as a potential strategic adversary.

Japan's own SDF seems to be a topic of conversation much more than I see the UK's own military is, which is almost never mentioned on twitter. Just from what I've seen. Japan seems to talk more about it, especially linked to politics.
