  1. I’m glad he is in a worse position now. Naive pride, and for what? What did he think it was going to be like? I have to assume the reason he didn’t take the offer is cause it was nowhere near 220k, not in the CCP. Given how most people live their lives in china and little money they make, there was no way in hell he would of gotten that much

  2. Eminent domain is a thing. The government doesn’t need his permission or even need to offer compensation to destroy his house to build the highway. They were just being incredibly kind to him

  3. In Atlantic City, NJ. The casino offer a woman a sizeable amount for her home. She turned it down, so the casino built up and over her house and then back down on the other side. She tried to fight it but the law said she didn't own the space above her home.
