You need to do a live you have miss a lot of island.
With your farm you will need a lot of water so I suggest that you get a new island with a pond.
With the knowledge stones when you start getting decorations, that means you have got all the work benches in that area.
I suggest exploring all the ? marks first as spoiler alert they unlock crucial tech and building
There is sctually a bug where some recipes require planks but they're not supposed to that may be the case with the windmill. Lots of people also reported not being abe to find the sawmill and some say you need to use the sketch book on a working one, possibly in recipe papers but im not sure.
you have been able to make the Granary for a while and keep complaining about having no where to store your Food… The Granary has 16 Slots and is the Largest Storage I have found so far
The leaf bucket is for watering crops
Player built structures don't add island weight apparently. So cover the whole island in five floors of stone and it'll 'weigh' the same for flight performances.
The upgrade station has a 'rotating top'. It doesn't matter what direction you access it from, it'll start you on the coating station and which ever other station you select from the top will rotate toward you.
And remember, the birds need different feed then the llama/sheep so you should put a second one for grain. Remember you have more then one type of fence for that gap. (no wooden gate though, that's irritating)
I saw a guy found the sawmill. It was pretty far into the inner rim. On one of those circled islands that the atlas gives.
Maybe check those clusters first…
With you full rebuild, have you considered to move to an island with water, which does help in regards to farming and such?
I am thinking of building a second island because you can fast travel between them. Then make the smallest one minimalistic with a bed basically then make it fast… really fast. Travel times in this game suck. If you do a small enough island and put enough sails on it it should be really fast.
I kinda hope they add in the ability to paint the building pieces.

Also building some of the different sail types on the back or side of the island would look great. Might also adds some maneuverability to pass through the rock belts easier
@Z1 Gaming, bruh the yellow dots on items indicate required materials to make something, you can add items to the craft table even though you don't have any of said item, look above craft and click learn instead…you have the resources to make the coated rope…stop playing dumb

Z1, in your process of building your Town idea, you may want to be careful on the WIDTH of the Island. I would be especially concerned for going through the walls into the different segments towards the center. If you remember, when you went through the first wall, there were explosive mines and you had to be careful in your maneuverings to avoid them. If I remember correctly, you lost your Sails twice and had to repair them to keep going…

Are you using "R" to snap when placing things?
Are knowledge stones randomly placed and then set? Or do they randomly give you certain knowledge from a pool except for certain ones that give you a specific crafting recipe.

I’m going to trust the process because as of right now it seems very chaotic.
You got 3 main collors while you are building , Stone , wood and green such are leaves and grass. Having everything just one material looks bad. Even if you build everything from stone please add some wood and green aroound as well. Love the animal pen just 2 small things. Bird houses just placed quickly without a thought . Would move then to the fence .. maybe even made them part of the fence. Animal shelter is lovely just the roof. The row that comes out one tile is spoorted by pillar and that looks lovely but the roof itself is just thick enough to be supported by those big pillars. Would add more mass so it would look better. And then the pillar in the middle of the island. I get it. The idea of windmils and all of that.. but give it some depths .. something. You just placed a stick in the middle and called it a day. That is just .. eh. You got 4 walkways connecting to the middle . Why not start making this tower from those walkways and connect them a bit more above the middle . I think that would look really lovely if this tower would have depth , some more collors added into it like wooden pillars or even the grass roof. As someone who can spend even whole days building those few details just hurt to see.

Funny you bring up the sawmill. I’ve seen it twice on different islands and have never been able to sketch it. It let me destroy them but not sketch it. Wondering if I need to do something before it will allow me to sketch the sawmill.
