The Sauchie Poltergeist of 1960 remains one of Scotland’s most chilling paranormal cases. At 19 Park Crescent, 11-year-old Virginia Campbell was plagued by terrifying phenomena both at her home, and at school —knocking sounds, moving objects, and more. Many believe Virginia’s psychic energy created the disturbances, but new evidence from Malcolm Robinson challenges the theory. Could it have been a discarnate entity haunting the house? Or even the entire street? Astonishingly, similar activity was reported at 17 and 30 Park Crescent in 1969 and as recently as 2020. Is Sauchie cursed by something far darker than we imagined? Great case! The spread to nearby houses almost sounds like a so called "fairy road", but the fixation on the girl for that period of time seems like a classic poltergeist. Interesting how these things overlap.

Oh my goodness, my heart breaks for Virginia. So many life changes and a haunting that terrified her to her core. 💔 my oldest granddaughter is 11 years old and I couldn’t imagine her having to endure something so terrifying as a poltergeist. Puberty and moving is hard enough for a little girl . I just want to hug her and comfort her. Hold on…. this happened on Sauchie? Well there's an easy explanation.. blame the monks of Buckfast Abbey in Devon.
Wait… Campbell? ..that was their name? Well that explains it!!!
The poverty of rural Ireland caused hundreds of thousands of Irish migrants, both Catholic and Protestant, to move from rural Ireland to Scotland in particular. They settled in the mining regions. My paternal great great great grandparents fled the potato famine and moved to Lanarkshire where he worked in the mines in the 1860s in horrendous conditions. His son married another Irish miner's daughter and they ended up living in a mining village just south of Falkirk. These mining villages were horrific place to live. In 1920 the Scottish Government condemned the row of houses they lived in. There were 70 dwellings with an average of 7 occupants in 2 rooms. The terrace was cheaply built with no damp proof course. This village was on upcountry moorland can you imagine living in a damp mouldy house in that part of Scotland in winter? There was a single running tap of water for all 70 houses, two 'privys' and an open sewer in the street. He died of black lung in his 30s and my great great granny brought up 7 kids alone in that place. The whole village was demolished in the late 1930s when the mine closed.
100 years later and they were still looking for work un the Scottish mines. At least pay and conditions had improved in 40 years and their house was still humble but a palace compared to the norm in the 20s.

People seem to think poltergeists are a different thing they are just spirit people,i hate calling it that always say spirit activity ive been a researcher since the 70s and im an Investigator had a lot of people thinking and asking me are they different always say no unfortunately tv shows make it out they are and it confuses people.

The Malevolent Entity may of been brought into existence from a group of people that manifested it into existence from the power of thought as a collective consciousness and has stayed in that area and most probably the only way to get rid of it would be the same way.

I grew up in an haunted house in the 70s and whenever we moved house the haunting followed us even after i got married and left home every house i experienced something even the house im in now for 24 years is haunted. Ive caught a large orb on camera and my two year old grandson is petrified of the bottom of the hallway where i saw the orb, he sees something we cant but it really scares and upsets him to the point he has to have the living room door closed that leads down the hallway. Ive tried asking him what he sees but at only two he cant yet tell me but i will keep trying
