  1. thanks so much again to @double_zr_tap on instagram for the amazing skitsona! <3
to the plushie lovers, fear not! i will be sticking with the skitty image we all know and love in the future, i just thought it would be very funny to have a rantsona deliver the "shrine island exposed" video. they may return in the future as well, and regardless of whether or not they do, it was such a treat to get to work with such a talented artist!

  2. Thank you for reminding me that theres no linebeck on linebeck island
… cant really call myself one of the few dozen PH fans, but linebeck is forever in my top three zelda characters.

This was pretty interesting though. Cool find!

  3. i would also argue that the natives of the world in breath of the wild could have called it shrine island while the shrine was there and they just had no reason to rename it just because the shrine had disappeared with the rest of the shiekah tech. also its possible that the placement of the shrines seem random because they focused their placement on notable places for the lightroots in the depths because every lightroot has a shrine directly above it.

  4. Aren't the shrine locations correlated to actual locations in Kyoto. I believe the director of the game even said as much. Also, I didn't realize shrines in the BotW were named after game developers (anagrams?) and in TotK shrine names were derived from the same locations as on a real map. At least I think I read something about that. It could be a Dark Side of the Moon / Wizard of Oz coincidence though. πŸ˜‚

  5. I think the shrine was placed on shrine island in botw because devs thought it'd be funny and, as you said, it allowed easy access to fleet lotus seeds but when it came to making totk they had to keep the hyrule and depths duality in mind. The placement of certian shrines made sense in botw but in totk they had to find new places that would be good placements for shrines in hyrule but also good placements for lightroots in the depths

  6. STOP. DELAYING. YOUR BOTW. VIDEO!

I know that's what you're doing. I know you're procrastinating. I'm bored and have listened to all of the big TOTK rants, and now I need fresh meat. So …. Hurry up!
